Every once in awhile we are blessed with having too many eggs. If you arrive and see our sign, $3 eggs $5/2dozen, at that time we have a slight surplus for the day & will be passing along the savings. Remember, this is ONLY while the sign is staged by the egg fridge & ONLY for our medium eggs! Thank you for continuing to support us! We couldn't have ended up in a better place 🥰

Help us help you & the environment! Return your egg cartons. Right next to the egg fridge there is a shelf to place them. This helps us keep cost down. It also helps us avoid having to get Styrofoam cartons. We prefer one that can eventually be recycled or degrade! We disinfect all egg cartons before they are reused. Our suppliers for the paper cartons are having a hard time keeping up with our demand & if we don't get cartons in soon we might have to resort to Styrofoam 😰

Story time, real story names are made up:
I have a friend, Anna, with a talent for gardening. She also has a young daughter, Emily. Her daughter had a friend over, Marie. Marie was a picky eater, so knowing that Anna decided to make the girls pizza for lunch. Off to the garden she went picking fresh herbs and veggies to homemake a phenomenal fresh pizza. 🤤 Personally my mouth waters just thinking about how tasty that sounds.
Marie was so disgusted that the food came from outside she called her mother and she got her own pizza delivered. 🫣 Anna was a little mortified and wasn't trying to embarrass her young teen daughter. Marie was never taught that food comes from the earth and at one point it was in a garden no matter where you order it from.
Lesson of the story is its astonishing to learn how many people are still unaware of where food comes from, but its important that we take the time to teach them. We are fortunate to be in a position to show the next generation not only where our food comes from, but HOW to make it grow or care for the animals that we need to survive. Shout out to all the amazing teens that step foot on the farm and take initiative to learn and grow. Without farming there would be no food. Without the willingness of kids to learn or someone teaching them where would the world be?

Visited Roden Barnyard Adventures, LLC in West Bend, WI. Dairy farming is definitely different than pumpkin farming and chickens, but it was definitely a cool experience and interesting to learn all about the process. Babies are born there daily. We saw 2 that had been born that morning, 1 less than an hour old & one being born! Always learning & supporting farmers everywhere🩷

☮️We like to live in harmony with our local wildlife. There is a nearby fox with her pups. No need to worry about our chickens as we work on keeping them safe from harm. Foxes are crepuscular, meaning they are active during dawn & dusk when our chickens are secure. Please help us keep our wildlife safe & stay alert when driving in. 🦊
