🎉K-9 plush toys are back!🎉 Due to the very high demand last time, we have staff set to open plushie sales to the public on Thursday, June 13th from 8am to 7pm and Friday June 14th, from 8am to 4pm. The sales will be in the Law Enforcement Center lobby.

Plushies are still $20 each with all proceeds benefiting the K-9 Fund through the Community Foundation.

Can I share one more local spot you can find me pretty often?! It’s Blue Boxer Arts (in the back of Tangled up in Hue)! I bet you didn’t know I LOVE to knit! 🧶 These are a few things I’ve knit recently (including the sweater I’m wearing) with fiber I found at Blue Boxer! My favorite winter past times are knitting and reading! Anyone else out there into fiber arts?!

Let’s talk about bakeries. I need to share two places today. Maybe you already know, but I can’t eat gluten. So my first bakery favorite is Sam’s Donuts in Menomonie! They make so many varieties for those of us that have had to cut gluten out of our diets to feel our best, and they have regular donuts too! The ONLY time I do make an exception (I only do it a couple times a year), is for a pastry from the Nostalgic Bean in Altoona! If you’ve never been to either… make time this Saturday. You can thank me later!

Best BOOK STORE… I’m excited about this favorite of mine! Dotters Books is one of my favorite places in Eau Claire! Our community is so lucky to have such a wonderfully curated locally owned book shop. If you’ve never been to Dotters, I cannot recommend it enough. Margaret and her staff always have a warm welcoming smile and the best book recommendations! If you know a reader, treat them to Dotters gift card this holiday (you’ll be a holiday hero)!

On this day every year, we make sure to take the time to tell those that are so important to us how much they’re loved, and how much they’re appreciated. It seems fitting that I take time today to tell you all just that!
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for choosing a locally owned business to support.

When I started my business over 10 years ago, someone asked me “Do you really think you can do this by yourself? Do you really think people around here care about being eco-friendly?” I knew this person was wrong, I just needed time to show them.

Every day I turn the key to unlock the salon door, I know how lucky I am that you choose Puckabee’s for your best buddy. I know how lucky I am to have a career that I love, and the support from my community. I’m delighted that you value my priority of caring your pet and the environment.

My goal has never to be the biggest salon, or have the most groomers. My goal has always been to care the most. Thank you voting for us and recognizing what sets us apart!
