The second leg of the long trip across the grand USA 🇺🇸 also included bringing home the most handsome man, Mr. Cash. He is glad to be back home and in Iowa.

We are so blessed to have connected with his handler, Alexis Taylor Hectorne and are so lucky she loved and spoiled him as much (if not more) than we do! 🖤🖤🖤

Congratulations, Graduation 🎓 Team Twister 🌪

Our trainer Brittany has spent the last few days traveling halfway across the nation to deliver and graduate Twister with his new handler in North Carolina. The transition was smooth and easy. Twister loves his job and his new handler and took to some new challenges in a new environment with a steady head about him.

We're very proud of this team and wish them long success together. 🙌 🐾

🌟 Honoring Our Veterans Today and Every Day 🌟

Today, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the courageous veterans who have served our country. Your sacrifices and dedication have paved the way for so many freedoms we cherish, and we owe you an incredible debt of thanks.

We also want to recognize the powerful role that PTSD Service Dogs play in supporting our veterans as they return home. These incredible dogs are more than companions; they’re lifelines, providing comfort, stability, and purpose for those coping with the effects of service-related PTSD. Without the brave men and women who have served, we wouldn’t have the profound research showing how the bond between human and canine can truly change lives.

Our commitment to supporting veterans through our Service Dog program wouldn’t be possible without them, and we are honored to help create more of these incredible partnerships.

Thank you, veterans, for all you’ve done and for helping inspire the life-changing work we’re dedicated to. Our freedom is not free. 🇺🇸

🎃 Halloween Safety Tips for Your Dog 🎃

As we get ready for spooky costumes and candy-filled nights, let’s make sure our furry friends stay safe and comfortable! Here are some Halloween dos and don’ts to keep your dog calm and out of harm's way:

DO: 🐾 Create a Safe Space – Keep your dog in a quiet room or behind a baby gate to avoid the constant doorbell and scary costumes. This helps them stay relaxed and keeps escape attempts at bay!

🐾 Mind the Treats – Chocolate, candy, and sugar substitutes like xylitol are toxic to dogs. Keep all treats out of reach and offer them dog-safe goodies instead.

🐾 Give Them Their Own Treats – A new chew or favorite toy can keep them distracted and entertained while the festivities happen.

🐾 Use Reflective Gear – If you're taking your dog out in costume, make sure they have reflective gear to stay visible, especially if you're out after dark.

DON'T: 🚫 Don’t Force Costumes – Costumes can be uncomfortable or frightening. Make sure any outfit fits well, doesn’t restrict movement or vision, and is easy to remove if they’re not happy with it.

🚫 Avoid Scary Surprises – Masks, capes, and wigs might seem fun to us but can spook dogs. Approach slowly in costume, and don’t let children run up unexpectedly.

🚫 Don’t Leave Decorations Unattended – Curious pups might chew on or knock over candles, light cords, or small decorations. Keep things out of reach and use battery-powered lights if possible.
