Work before work! We’ve been fortunate to have some decent weather here lately. But, having the indoor training setup has been awesome for getting in the crucial obedience sessions, and dealing with the Arkansas summer heat!

Did some work in the rain with ol Waylon this morning! Hope to see him break 3000 retrieves for his lifetime this hunting season 💪🏻 one helluva dog!

These dogs have been putting in some serious work this summer, and especially the past few days!

-Cash has been doing great working his way through the beginning stages of Force Fetch.

-Waylon and Oakley are working on staying in shape, running blinds and marking drills to keep them up to par ready to rock once hunting season rolls around.

-Karma is finishing up FF doing pile work and casting drills.

-Chief is soon to start learning the “whoa” command. He’s gained enough experience working in the field with birds using his nose it’s been awesome seeing his natural ability come out.

All in all, things are great here at the kennel. Making sure the dogs and everything stays as clean and as cool as possible in this July heat. Hopefully everyone is enjoying summer as much as possible!

BOBWHITE QUAIL HUNTS - McRae, AR
Before getting too invested I wanted to make a post to get an idea if anyone on my friends list would be interested, or know of anyone interested in coming out to our property this fall/winter for some fun guided quail hunts!?

These hunts have the chance of flushing multiple wild coveys of Quail that we manage for, but we primarily will be targeting released pen-raised birds that have been flight acclimated to provide an experience as close to wild-chase as possible!

Our size and location is a perfect spot for anyone looking to get a hunt in. Easy walking and setups for seniors or youth hunters. Great environment for young dogs to learn in training for anyone looking for a place to get their dog some work in, bring em out! We will try to provide a quality experience and accommodate accordingly.

It's been a great few weeks of training despite the weather! Get a hold of us spring is here let's get your pup trained or tuned up for the upcoming season!
