Meet Blanch, and just like her namesake, she is the sassiest of the golden girls! This super sweet 3 year old golden retriever mix found abandoned in county with her puppies. She is super pleasant and gets along with everyone, she is kennel trained, loves to play and is currently learning all the ins and outs of being a family dog. She is available for adoption and she would love to do a meet and greet with your family!

To everybody who was worried about the german shepherd that was living on the utep campus for the last three weeks, we managed to catch him last night. We had named Pete and he will be available for adoption through Animal Rescue League. We are guessing he's about five years old, he's sweet, does not try to bite....He's just skittish.

I don't know who please took this photo that i'm using.But also a thank you to everybody who was going out there and feeding him and attempting to catch him. Now it's time to find this guy a good home!

We have 3 precious, 11 week old puppies that need some human handling. Looking for volunteers that could spend some time with them, even just a day or two would be great.... If you can do any amount of time to get them used to human contact, It will help make them adoptable. They are just very timid.

9 month old beautiful pure breed female Shar Pei, her coloring is chocolate Dilute. Her eyes are gold and her paw pads & nose are Chocolate. Her tongue is not black. That is a very sought after variation. She is house trained and kennel conditioned. She's friendly with other dogs and people. This is a very pleasant dog that has been well cared for. The family is rehoming her Due to medical conditions of their own. Adoption fee will be the cost of shots and spay, I estimate that to be $200. Adoption contract and references required.

Like peas and carrots.... On the left is Darla, Eve's service dog In training (95% done). On the right is Sassy, A young Belgian Malanois mix pulled from animal services. Sassy Somehow ended up at animal services, she Has gone through two foster homes (Due to no fault of her own, both never intended on adopting) and more she is just starting her service dog training.
Sassy is Unlike any Mal I have personally ever been around... Good with cats, Good with dogs of all sizes and all temperaments, Good with kids, Good with every type of adult we have introduced her to. Animal services warned me she was terrible on the leash yet we Fixed that on day one! Not really sure how the road's going to unfold Ms Sassy pants But what I do know is it that She is going to be a wonderful service dog and I am going to ensure that she has a wonderful life.

Meet Mr Charley! Someone needs the sweet boy in their home.... male 4 year old Schnauzer mix, Found emaciated in el paso. He came to us weighing 13lbs and he's now up to 16lbs. When he's back to His proper weight we expect He should probably weigh around 23lbs. Sweet, Loving, Affectionate, Pleasant with other dogs, Pleasant with all manners of people, This dog is truly special. Every once in a while, I'll post one of my fosters and ask my friends to share this on their timelines so that we can help find a really good home for a really deserving dog. All shots neutered and microchip, Adoption fee is $155. This is Gunther, this baby was hit by a car yesterday and his owners have elected to surrender him to Karen Washington And her organization, Pawsitive Rescuers. He will be at my house this weekend Receiving pain meds until he can be taken to Juarez for Surgey Monday. Local vets wanted $8000 plus to do the surgery. We are so blessed to have the resource of Star Pets Juarez in Mexico, they can do this complicated surgery for $1000. I know one hip is out of the socket and the other has a bone broken in 3 places. Again, this doesn't happen without supporters. Anybody who knows me knows that I usually Don't post this stuff on social media. But lately it has been overwhelming The rescues that I work with, So I've decided that maybe the community needs to get some sense of how overwhelming The need is.

Day two, and we have decided to name her Buttercup. A nice Bath has made her feel really good. Yesterday's vet visit was $240, She was started on subcuatneous fluids and some high-calorie paste to pep her up. During the night, she threw up very compacted and digestible material That I think was blocking her stomach.... Hopefully the supporter care were giving her will allow her to do some healing without sending her into surgery. Animal rescue league donated IV bag and needles for the subcue fluids. Another lovely lady has donated A large supply of fresh pet So we can give this girl and her baby's the best nutrition.( I hope Karen Washington will tag her in this.)

This poor girl was laying lifeless in front of the police station on the Far East side. Karen Washington jumped into action and got her picked up and delivered to me, Big Mutts has said that when she gives birth They will get her and the babies on a transport out of here. And in the meantime, she will stay with us and let those babies grow As much as they can before she gives birth, All thanks to the generous donations from supporters.. It's truly takes a village to do rescue work. These rescuers who do the street work have nerves of steel and It amazes me What they have to deal with.. Other rescues work day and night to get these dogs to better places, They drive thousands of miles at their own expense to get these dogs to a better life. And then so many of you online supporters will reach into your pockets and donate money food, whatever we need. I normally Don't post these stories on social media but I plan on sharing This sweet momma dogs journey to show you what rescue is really like.
