We are FINALLY able to open up lesson spots to new clients!!! Our outdoor is finished and barn and indoor are set to be started shortly! Located in Eliot ME. I think I’ve talked to most people but reminder that anyone lessoning or hacking this week NEEDS to come early! Heat index, especially in the field where there’s no shade, is above 100. Get up early! I will be!!!

With as fast as horses go through fly masks if any clients wants to purchase a fly mask for any of the WEF horses feel free! Each horse usually goes through 2 a season. Except for Poppy (large pony) everyone wears a “horse” sized Cashel with ears fly mask. If you want to have it monogrammed with “WEF” or a horses name feel free!

As 2023 comes to a close we anxiously await 2024! With a new year comes the start of the full facility (hopefully very soon!) and the whole venture that comes with it!
We still adore our “adoptive home” at Wolf Creek Stables and are so thankful they took us in a year ago.
2023 didn’t bring any new equines (thank goodness!) but we did see both Deegan and Walker come back to work! Deegan has proven invaluable to the lesson program and Walker is looking promising to be stepping back in the show ring. Lucca Coconut Deegan and Poppy took their show riders around a fabulous season culminating in a wonderful season and eq finals for all, most of which had never gotten to go! Plus everyone ribboned in their respective finals!
Stella got to go to her first show and took her person to hers as well! She has settled in to “unemployment” at home for the time being but will hopefully be up and going in 2024! William and Karma joined the home team and we welcomed KD as a boarder to round out the fabulous 4!
Everyone rode so well and worked incredibly hard this year.
With the farm house done, some horses home and a facility on the horizon 2024 promises to be our best year yet!

WEF team members: this Saturday I’m not at the farm but in turn will be moving ALL the horse stuff from Rochester to Eliot! I would love and appreciate any and all help because it all needs to be organized and put in to tubs/trunks before being moved! Please message/text me if you are interested/willing to help!

What a fabulous day we had at Seacoast Show Series today! Andrea and Poppy won their eq, poles and were second in the hunter finishing day end champion as well as season champion! Tanner and Poppy won their hunter over fences, 2nd hunter flat, 3rd eq fences and 4th eq flat finishing reserve in the hunter for day end as well as season end! They also finished 6th in year end eq. Hannah and Deegan had a great outing finishing 3rd in eq fences, 2nd hunter over fences and having great rides on the fiat! So proud of everyone!

WEF riders: it will be quite warm Thursday and Friday afternoons. All lessons should be moved up to before 11. If you haven’t put in a lesson and want one of those days let me know ASAP as I’m making up pairings for doubles and triples.

What a great day we had both in NH and VT! All the horses who attended NHHJA today were outstanding and their riders finally just clicked!! It was so exciting to watch. The judging was really not what it should have been but we all agreed that our rides were top ribbon rides with very small bobbles!! Kayleigh Bella and Larkyn were outstanding in the Long stirrup and the pre children’s hunters. Andrea had great leadline classes as well! Poppy Deegan Lucca and Coconut stepped up to the plate every time.
Tanner showed at the Vermont Summer Festival on Lola today and was Day End Champion winning his flat and one over fences!!
Such a wonderful day all around!

NHHJA #1 Saturday was a LONG day! We arrived at 5:30 AM and didn’t pull out until 7PM! Horses and people were all troopers despite the long day. We brought 4 horses, 3 of which are totally new to us in the show ring (Deegan, Coconut and Lucca). Everyone has some good “ice breaker” moments with their new mounts, things to work on and things to tweak! Tanner and Poppy ribboned in several Short Stirrup classes out of a massive field and Larkyn and Poppy secured a reserve champion in the 2’ hunters winning their first round! 2 weeks and we are back at NHHJA again!
