The Supper Club at Hydrangea Stables. It's the Sunday night special, all you care to eat at the salad bar. We can't take any reservations as tonight's service is sold out.

Today was first day on pasture for 2023. This is a big day for the horses who haven't been on grass for the past 6 months. We follow the guidelines from the University of Minnesota extension. They recommend allowing the pasture to reach 6 to 8 inches high before grazing. The horses get 15 minutes the first day and then increase by 15 minutes each day until they get up to 2.5 hrs before they are allowed to be out all day.

Yesterday was "snow gone" day. The day that all of our pastures were snow free....at least for a few days.

After weather that cooperated all fall, we got the base level of our arena leveled just ahead of the blizzard. The gravel was delivered literally at the last minute. The last of 8 trucks dumped its load and was pulled from the road due to the blizzard! Looking forward to next spring when we can get a final grade completed.
