🌱Matured Red Veined Sorrel Microgreens have intricate and vibrant red veins, bright green leaves, high levels of Vitamin C, and taste subtly of lemon, strawberry, and kiwi.
🌱They are a long growing microgreen in that they take well over a month to reach this size. 🌱Seeds for Sorrel are difficult to harvest in large quantities, making them exceptionally costly for growers and farms to buy.
🌱They pair especially well with fish, poultry, and dairy or citrus based desserts, but will enhance any number of other dishes complexity of flavor and color profile.

Very excited about our first test run with these Red Veined Sorrel micros! I tried them first in a beautiful dish by and started growing them the following week.
Red Veined Sorrel are one of the most colorful, ornate, and delicious microgreens around. They taste of strawberry and kiwi fruit and bring a vibrant and unique color splash to any plate.
We will have some a small amount available next week to our regular customers and more to come in the future!

🌱Pea Shoot Miso Salad🌱
One of our most popular micros, Pea Shoots sport a variety of uses:
⭐️ Alone, they make a great addition to any salad or sandwich, used much like any salad green.
⭐️ They are one of the few microgreens that stand up exceptionally well to sautéing, as a lightly cooked addition to any pasta dish, soup, or as a side, akin to sautéed spinach.
⭐️ As their own meal (pictured here) lightly dressed with a soy, white miso, lemon, and sesame oil vinaigrette (or however you choose to dress a salad)
🌱 A single cup of pea microgreens can provide 50% of an adult's recommended daily Vitamin C allowance, as well as high values of vitamins E & A, potassium, and dietary fiber, while containing almost half the calories of full grown peas!

While primarily used in the restaurant world as garnish, microgreens can be enjoyed in many ways! Salads, sandwiches, soups, and smoothies with even an ounce of most microgreens can hit well over 100% of the RDA of antioxidant nutrients you need. This blend with broccoli, sunflower, lettuce, and red cabbage micros, lightly dressed with oil & vinegar, is super delicious, and packed with Vitamin A, B, C, E, and K, and a healthy amount of protein, fiber, iron, magnesium, folic acid, and phosphorus.

The shrimp were good too.
