When you have a dog in your life you love it. Its heart becomes part of your heart. When he grows old and dies, a part of it stays in your heart. You get another dog and through the years it too become part of your heart. When it is old and gone, a part of it stay in your heart. This happens again. And by the time you are old you are a very loyal, loving, and happy person. Because you have the heart of a dog.

Dogs are pack animals. They cannot be alone. They need to be with some one whether it be another dog, a person, or even a cat that it has gotten attached to. They have to be in a social environment or they will get into trouble. And it will not be the dogs fault.

And I will add to this by saying;
This is very true! Children should be taught how to be gentle and handle dogs at an early age. Never be allowed to do anything that would make the dog upset at them. Most children that get bit have had the dog already warned them not to touch or get close to them. But children have no boundaries and that's the parents fault. Parents teacher boundaries with the dogs. Teaching children to respect space. I have always taught my dog to do the same with children. But both of them need to learn their boundaries. Let's just keep them both safe.
