We had a blast this 2024 lesson season. Our 4Her's made major progress in and out of the show ring, we had adult amateurs find their confidence in a new discipline, some had their first ride ever, and most of all, everyone had fun and stayed safe.

If you know of a loved one who wants to get back in the saddle again, or maybe try riding for the first time, we are offering a special package for the 2025 lesson season. We offer beginner-intermediate lessons in English and Western.

2 lessons $80 ($10 off)
4 lessons $140 ($40 off)

That's a wrap for RCR Summer 2024:

✅️ Arena improvements (thanks NK Dirtworks LLC !)
✅️ Made riding dreams come true
✅️ 4 of RCR boarder horses participated in the Ellensburg Rodeo this year (a record!)
✅️ Hosted our first official clinic with Sam Vanfleet's Mustangs
✅️ Rescued and rehabbed 5 kittens throughout the summer as a group effort
✅️ Zero bad vibes were found out here, and our little community had a great time making the most out of those late summer riding nights.

We are excited to be hosting Cal Middleton Horsemanship at our little ranch before his clinic this week up at the Horse Park. Cal has a few spots open still. Youth night is this Friday at 5:30pm. This is a great Pre-Fair opportunity for our 4Hers.

We have pasture and dry lots with shelter available for full or self care boarding.

RCR boasts a welcoming environment for every level of riding, in any discipline. We offer In-house riding lessons for beginners and intermediates.

Amenities:
70x120 Outdoor sand arena (lighted)
60' Round Pen (lighted)
Tack room
Trailer parking included
Premium Kittitas County Timothy and Alfalfa hay
Group events such as hauling to the indoor arena during the winter, clinics, and more.

We are currently installing a 2-acre trail course complete with a track for our boarders to enjoy.

Thank you to Sam Vanfleet's Mustangs for an incredible day. We had a great group of ladies and horses show up and give it their all today. We learned tricks (the laydown, spin, backing from behind), the draw, side passing, different types of backing and much more. It was a full day of fun out here.

We checked a big item off the list today ✅️

Thank you to NK Dirtworks LLC for the amazing work adding sand and leveling the arena. This is a huge investment for us and a long time in the making.

We spent the weekend making memories out here. We hosted an adult Easter egg hunt yesterday- so many clients and friends showed up, and had a blast! Definitely looking to expand on this event next year. 🐰

Also, the cutest cowgirl and her entourage showed up for a riding lesson 🐴🧡

Looking forward to many more fun weekends out here this summer!

We are so excited (and lucky!) to welcome Bubbles to Rodeo City Ranch! Bubbles is the ultimate 4-H/pony club unicorn, who is coming out of an early retirement in order to help teach kids how to ride here at the Ranch.

Bubbles is available for beginner and intermediate english/Western lessons this spring and summer. His schedule is already filling up, reach out to us ASAP to get on his list!

We haven't wasted a minute of this good weather this last week. It's been spring cleaning and projects galore out here. We have a couple new additions coming to the ranch in the next couple weeks that I cannot wait to share about soon.

Keep tabs on us over the next few weeks, we have so many exciting events and projects finally coming to fruition this spring and summer.

It was Central Washington Equine Hospital day out here at Rodeo City Ranch!

Coordinating as a group to stay up on critical vaccines and medical procedures is a plus of boarding at a facility. We are lucky to have such a great group of boarders that are all willing to help each other out on a busy work day.

Fun fact, we had two feet of snow on the ground during vet day last year in February. Grateful for sun this time around. ❤️🐴

Carpooling with horses? Well that's how we're beating the winter blues out here. A quick 5 minute drive is worth it to get back in saddle at the fairgrounds with a fun group of gals. ❤️🐴

Ellensburg- RCR has a half acre lot available for full or partial self care boarding. Close to CWU and the fairgrounds. Please see original post for details.

The New Year is starting off with a February opening in one of our prime .5 acre lots (pictured below). Full Care starts at $550, Self care is $450.

We have a long list of updates and projects for this facility in 2024. This is an opportunity to join a growing equine facility with a great community of horse people.
