A few thoughts that I was thinking about on my drive home tonight. Of course, none of these suggestions replace GOOD HORSEMANSHIP. There’s been a horse or two that could have come farther had these things been done prior to training.

Without going down a rabbit hole, here are some things you might do if you want to set your horse up for success, regardless of discipline.

-teeth floated
-good hoof care
-24/7 access to quality forage
-deworming if necessary

Not all professionals are created equal. Do your research. Talk with people who have worked with them before.

We don’t know it all, in fact very little. Which is why we are grateful to have relationships with highly educated professionals who have an abundance of knowledge to help the horse.

There was a bit of confusion on my last post about Daltons books. Early 2025 is closed. Spots begin to open up late spring early summer 2025. If you have previously talked to us about a spot, you are still on our books and good to go.
