Yesterday we had our farrier day and here is our report card on how well our horses did standing for our farrier. Our overall GPA for the barn is 3.1. I’m thankful for our farrier that has a good sense of humor to play with me and all the great boarders who also got a kick out of it. 😜😂🤷🏼‍♀️. Here’s to next time raising our barn GPA. Geri Gohsman

167 posts of marriage counseling 😝. My husband and I joke that doing projects together is like going to marriage counseling. Getting out and doing these together let’s us problem solve, work on communication, make fun of each other and most importantly spend quality time together.

So I was informed that I never introduced this wonderful horse named Pearl. She has actually been here a year and I really do love this mare. She is fun to work with and a very fast learner. Obviously we have lots of content of her and you have probably seen her here before. 😬🥰🐴🤩

Meet Johnny Cash and Big Boy. They are the cutest two geldings. Johnny is spunky and very vocal at feeding and Big Boy is a gentle giant.

This spring has been very cold and wet. The weather finally worked out so we could go on a quick trail ride. Both Nala and Chief did an awesome job!

Daisy would like to make a formal complaint to management of Dala Ranch. She is not living her best retired life at the moment. Rain does not fit in that lifestyle for her. 🤣

Our covered arena is finished! We are super excited. It is 60x90, a good place to exercise when outdoor arena is out of commission due to weather. The roof has solar panels so we will be running on solar energy. It does have lights so when the sun goes down at 4 you can still come out and ride. 🎉🐴🎉

SNÖ ❄️ Good morning, we woke up to our first snow of the year. Jack had some ducks playing in his pasture and if course Chief was eating snow. I love being the first to walk in the snow.

We’ve had a very wet fall this year and if you know horses that equates to mud. The horses are finally getting our normal fall days of cold clear skies and they are loving it. 🐴😴☀️
