We will be closed starting at 12pm on Thursday, August 29th and will reopen at 8am Tuesday, September 3rd. If your pet needs refills, please call our office. If your pet has not been seen in a year or longer, they will need an annual exam before refilling medications.

Mt. Stuart Animal Hospital is now closed for the holiday. We will reopen Monday, July 8th at 8am. There are currently no emergency options in Kittitas County, if your pet is experiencing an emergency, please seek care in the surrounding areas. Thank you and have a safe Independence Day.

This is a friendly reminder that we will be open half day July 3rd and closed July 4th and 5th. If your pet needs medications filled, especially for fireworks, feel free to call the clinic. Please be aware if we have not seen your pet, never filled firework medications, or it has been over a year since their physical with us, we will need to schedule an exam for medications.

In observance of Memorial Day, Mt. Stuart Animal Hospital will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024. We will return to normal clinic hours on Tuesday, May 28th. In case of emergencies, please call PES Mid Columbia at (509)547-3577.

Dr. Hedrick will be out of the office tomorrow, April 2nd. We will have limited staff to schedule appointments, but we will not be able to refill medications until Wednesday, April 3rd. Thank you for your patience.

Mt. Stuart Animal Hospital is looking to add to our team. This is an entry level position, so no experience is required. We are looking for a full time employee available Monday-Friday. The State Veterinarian warns of "Unidentified Canine Illness". If you notice abnormal respiratory symptoms in your dog, please contact your veterinarian as soon as possible.

Veterinarian is encouraging dog owners to be vigilant to keep their animals safe and healthy. There have been no reports of this unknown illness in Washington state as of today, Washington State Veterinarian Dr. Amber Itle said.

As a reminder to all clients, Dr. Hedrick is out on a well deserved vacation this week. She will return Monday, July 10th. In her absence, our staff is unable to dispense any and all medications, we are unable to send medical records, write prescriptions, provide any form of care, or any medical advice. Please be patient and we will be back to serve you at full capacity on Monday, July 10.
