New crew in for training!
How does your dog do off leash?
Manage thresholds. It’s simple, provides daily structure, it’s more safe for the dog and humans. Try it out and send me a message if you don’t know what I’m talking about.
These two are great friends, both adopted from the same shelter and both went through our training program. Their owners are friends so they will continue to be able to spend time together.
Love seeing the improvements our dogs make when they are taught clear instructions and given structure to their life. The foundation in training is your relationship with the dog. Be an example of who you want them to be.
This is how we start recall by teaching hand targeting.
When we recall a dog we want them to come all the way back to us where we can touch them.
When teaching behaviors it can be very helpful to train before meal times.
Guess what we just added to training experience!?! It’s called a #slatmill and is a Non-Motorized treadmill for dogs where they control the speed. We are excited to use the slatmill to help build confidence, burn some energy, and build more trust and engagement with your dog. We are offering free introduction sessions as we get it figured out. Let us know if you’d like to check it out!
