Ellensburg Pet Lodge is hiring!! We are growing and need to add someone to the team. 20-30 hours a week with more hours during holidays and school breaks. We are looking for someone who has experience with dogs and enjoys working hard. No minors. 6 months to 1 year commitment required. Puppy Kinder: Wednesdays 6:30
June 19th - July 31st.
7 week course Cost $185

This course is for puppies that are around 4-9 months old. Puppy Kinder focuses on social skills and basic obedience. Skills taught in this course will be: Recall, sit on command, down on command, "off," walking nicely on leash, learning the heel position and following command while in heel. You will also learn safe/proper toys, nutrition and socialization.

Obedience: Tuesdays 6:30pm
June 18th - July 30th.
7 week course Cost $185

Commands such as come, heel, sit, down, stay off, leave-it, and out, will be learned while in a group setting. Your dog will learn how to walk calmly beside you without pulling in a distracted environment. After this course you and your dog will work together as a team. You will be able to adjust as needed to your dogs behavior in any situation.

Advance Obedience: Thursdays 6:30pm
June 20th - August 1st.
7 week course. Cost $185

Advanced obedience is for dogs with experience in obedience. In this course, dogs and their owners will advance and sharpen their skills. Such as; heeling off leash, recall from a great distance, sit and stay without owner near for a specific amount of time and the use of hand signals for basic commands.

“It is with great excitement that I introduce myself to you. I am Carlene Frye and I will be the new Obedience Instructor at Ellensburg Pet Lodge. I am excited to hopefully work with you and your pet to become a better team through positive training practices.

I have 49 years of experience training and working with dogs. I have titled several dogs in obedience as well as in the conformation ring, not only in the US, but Australia as well.

It is the hope, that after taking a course, you and your dog will become a better team and have a positive understanding of what each other expects. I look forward to meeting you and your pet.
