Join The Dog Biscuit Hunt & Flashlight Egg Scramble At Rotary Park

Join the free dog biscuit hunt and flashlight egg scramble on Friday, March 29, 2024.

The dog biscuit hunt starts at 6 p.m. Bring the 4-legged friends in your family down to experience the fun and excitement of following their noses to those wonderful biscuits and chew toys. A handler (16 years of age or older) must accompany all participants. Great fun for dogs and their people!

When the park gets dark, find eggs, candy, and prizes! Over 4,000 candy and surprise filled eggs are scattered throughout the listed areas. Be sure to bring your OWN flashlight & basket. The hunt starts at 8 p.m.
Ages 1-4* Roped Area
Ages 5-8 Softball Field #1
Ages 9-12 Softball Field #2
*Youth must be able to pick up their own eggs.

8:55 pm update. Jazzy went into the Trap finally and they have her and she will be heading home with her family tomorrow morning. Thank you everyone for your help!

11:30 update. There was a sighting this morning at 8:30. The owner is there along with the transporter searching for the dog. Jazzy's brother is there also. Fingers crossed she's found soon

11/20 9:30 am update. No sightings today. The owner is bringing Jazzy's brother so hopefully that will lure her out. They should be here within the hour. Please do not drive by as she's very afraid of cars. Before going to look for her let us know. There's been too many people walking around up there scaring her.

3:45 update. A trap has been set and there is someone that will stay up there overnight to check on it. Please keep your fingers crossed, say a prayer, and send good thoughts that she'll go in it.

Jazzy's been seeing a few times and is between the police station and the cemetery. She will not come to anyone. There's four volunteers out there right now and they would like to have more if you can go help. Do not chase after her just call her name and see if she'll come to you. She's been in the same area for quite a while now.

"I adopted my son at birth knowing he had a genetic disorder. He is now 6 and non verbal but uses sign for communication. We are fostering a beautiful deafie boxer girl (soon to be adopted!). She is amazing with my son. She is the most gentle, loving girl ever. The most BEAUTIFUL part of this adoption is my son and his dog can actually talk to each other! I highly encourage adoption of deaf dogs ... She is such a perfect addition to our family. We have been blessed with Ellie."

So we had a dissatisfied customer... Some people! ** And as I told the customer, we were unable to finish the job because she was so stressed out after the initial de-matting, bathing and blow dry. She was panting and dreweling. She had had enough so I decided I finish her up another day.
