I’ve seen way to many post about missing/lost/found/injured dogs/cats lately! This weather is brutal, we need to keep them home where it’s warm.

Little PSA 🚨 It’s 2024- Find a way to find your dog! There is no reason for this with the technology and collars available anymore. I get it dogs get loose, run free but they can be returned home easily if you help them and yourself!

🐶 Option 1- A collar with your name and a phone number. Our dogs have the flat ones so the tags don’t fall off when hunting. If your dogs don’t like to be caught then this shouldn’t be your only thing you use, no one can call the owner if they can’t catch him/her!

🐶 Option 2- Air tags. Yes they aren’t 💯 all the time but still better than no clue where to start looking.

🐶 Option 3- FI dog collar.
The one I recommend especially for free range dogs. Hi it’s me 🙋‍♀️ I once too had a runner! We lived in the same house for 10 years, moved to the outside of town and our lab kept roaming back into town to the old house. Then we got this and a peace of mind when we left knowing I could pull up the app and see EXACTLY where he was.

You do have to pay a monthly/yearly fee but it’s like life 360 for your dog. Shows you exactly where they are, you can set a boundary and if they go outside it it alerts you! Highly recommend!!!

❄️ Mobile grooming in Kansas is always an adventure!

⛄️ I had everyone scheduled for the next few months but w this weather and I’m needing some dental work done my January schedule is a train wreck.

If I’ve sent you any dates for the year don’t be surprised if they are changed- most likely w bigger gaps between appointments (unfortunately) so I can get everyone in still 😩

🚨 Also be aware for price increases, I’ve avoided raising them for a while but I can no longer absorb the inflation of everything.

🎉 Happy 2024! Running a small business can be scary, I’ve been at it for almost a decade and can’t thank you all enough for being able to continue on! 🙌🐶

You all want in on my secret?!

With the warmer weather coming up more clients choose to wash their pups in between grooms.

I get asked weekly what conditioner I use to make the dogs smell so good for days after their bath.

That being said BE SURE and BRUSH them after their bath thoroughly! Make sure the brush is reaching the skin not just the top layer. The hair gets wet and if not brushed out properly it WILL matt and we don’t want that!!

🐾Hello to all my clients especially w older dogs!! 🐾
I know I’ve spoke to a lot of you recently about your elder dogs having issues. Thought I’d share what worked for us.

I recently had to take our 12 year old lab Jax into the local vet because he had been limping for a few weeks. He slide on our tile and I thought he had torn his ACL. She said it wasn’t completely torn so try and heal it on its own.
She told us to keep his running to a minimum (preferably none at all) We did the best we could but he’s a farm dog 🤪

She also recommended this supplement. It was a game changer for him! We kept him in great shape before hunting season but w his injury we hadn’t ran him at all. Even when he’s in good shape after he hunts he can barely get up the next day.

Now I’m not a vet so definitely ask them their opinion but this stuff helped Jax so much! He went hunting two weeks ago for two days in a row in 6 inches of snow. I was dreading watching him struggle to walk the day after. You would of thought he was a pup! Got up with ease. He no longer limps on the daily either. Game changer for him!
