These little guys are all 1 year old today and doing fabulous with their families.

Butte LOVES his toys… he was excited to find them ALL clean and hiding in the dryer today. Now they can ALL go BACK outside and get muddy again. 😂

Update on Baby and Diamond…. The duck follows Diamond around the house and settles down next to her whenever she can. I will be in search for duck diapers😂. This bond is the cutest thing and so worth the mess. 🥹

Meet McKiney! McKiney is a female, 3 year old, Golden Retriever. She is 57 pounds.

McKiney arrived at the shelter as a stray. She is a little shy here at the shelter, but who can blame her? The shelter is a new place with lots of smells and people. She will likely need a moment or two in her new forever home to settle in and warm up. She’s a beautiful girl looking for a loving forever home to call her own!

McKiney will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we do always require a staff-assisted meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We do not know how she will do with cats.

McKiney is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today!

It is their day!!! National Golden Retriever Day…. They didn’t seem impressed, very day is “ Their” day. These two live the best life, private river access off the back patio, 5 acres to run and roam and nightly visitors of deer. We are blessed to be their humans.
