Complete Canine Fitness

Complete Canine Fitness Our mission is to provide an indoor facility where owners and trainers can work together, to provide a positive training experience. Why promote them?

The business proposal is for a gym that provides a place to come and train with your dog indoors. There will be treadmills, agility equipment, weights, and lots more set up for the use of our members. We will also offer classes like Puppy Classes, Obedience, Agility, and Schutzhund through trainers that will be affiliated with our club. We are all about sports and fitness like, sledding, weight li

fting, and skijoring. Trainers and club members will be able to come and use the facility freely at any time. Whether you're a beginner, advanced or somewhere in between, we want to help you develop that relationship with your new best friend in order for him/her to be the best s/he can be. Regardless of the specialty you are training for or if you just want to spend time playing and keeping the dog in shape while doing it .We would provide the necessary equipment needed to help them get into shape or work on their technique all while having fun doing it! Our goal is to bring owners closer to their dogs. There are doggie day cares and different classes offered that you could take with your dog, but none of them offer a dog owner a place to train alone. Doggie day cares offer a place for your dog to stay during the day and play with other dogs. They also train your dog for you and then just let you know how to work with your dog based on what he was taught. They do not offer the ability for you to strengthen your bond with your dog, through the training process. Taking your dog to classes with a trainer gives the owner a foundation on which to start, but it does not give you the room to reinforce what you learned at home. Some dog owners live in apartments or have small yards, but want to continue their training in Agility, Treibball, or Schutzhund, but do not have the space, or the equipment, to do it. It is well known that people, who play with their dog, stay with their dog. Why do dog activities matter? Dog activities matter because they help dogs keep their homes. There are gyms for humans all over the city, but none of them allow dogs to come and work out as well. Dogs that do not get enough exercise get restless, disobedient, and destructive. Those are the three top reasons why dogs lose their homes every year and end up on the street and in shelters. Giving a place for owners to come and get their dogs energy spent are more likely to keep them around. When people and dogs do things together it is good news all around. Many of these activities provide the structure that helps people learn to better communicate with their dogs. The dogs have a better opportunity to learn good manners, that makes them easier to live with and less likely to be given up. The activities help people get in touch with one another to share information that also helps people to learn more about dogs, to avoid problems, and to solve them in a healthy way. The activities provide exercise in a fun way that boosts the relationship. The exercise, in turn, reduces boredom. A dog that exercises with its human is less likely to have behavior problems. A wonderful side benefit is that these activities can be a mental boost for humans and dogs alike. It is important to us to bring the dog closer to its owner and to keep dogs off the street and out of shelters. There are lots of dog owners out there that have a set time to go to the gym. With the winter weather they do not always have the time or the will to take their dogs out for a walk. Some dog owners are elderly and are unable to give their dogs the exercise needed. The club will be successful because it will be focused on the needs of the dog, as well as the dog owners. We will offer rings with set agility courses that will be available for our members to come and use at whatever time they would like. There will be treadmills set up for the use of both canine and owner. Weights will be set up for weight pulling or lifting and rooms available for Treibball and Schutzhund training. Equipment like harnesses, collars, suits, different sized leashes, and other equipment, needed to train for the different sports, will be available.Trainers will be able to host their classes there, with no extra charge to them or their clients. Clubs will be offered a chance to hold their meet and practice for competitions. In the future there is hope that we could host mock AKC and UKC competitions to get our members ready for the real thing at Dog Shows. Sledding is also a promising prospective. Dogs will have the opportunity to be exposed to sledding equipment. Future plans are to have a few sleds incorporated so that both the dogs and the owner could practice working as a team, pulling a load. Signing up for membership is the first step in strengthening the bond with your canine. There will be three different memberships offered: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Only members will have free use of our facility and equipment.
