One of, if not the hottest day so far, in our lovely Santa Cruz Mountains prompts us to remind all the wonderful pet parents out there of the dangers of heat stroke in pets. I always feel anxious this time of year, worrying about everyone’s pets and hoping they are keeping cool and hydrated. Much as we adore having them pal around with us, sometimes it’s in their best interest to stay home. And remember, take walks with them earlier or later than usual when temperatures are not so high!

One of my favorites from the parade yesterday!

After lots of research and deliberation we have decided to feed Matcha and Goji a diet of wet and/or raw food only. This is them trying Savage Cat Foods raw chicken for the first time. I think Goji's growl says it all...
