For the first time since opening we will be raising our boarding prices. Starting October 1st, prices are now $35/night for the first dog and $30/night every additional dog. If you have any questions feel free to contact us!

My name is Kingston and I am the goodest boy! I love people, I love other dogs, and I love to play! I'm young and a little hyper but I learn so fast!

Kingston is a medium bully cross who gets along well with other dogs and loves people! He is young so sometimes has to be reminded he has manners, then immediately calms down. He is currently utd on everything and goes with two free trainings with us! Pm if you're interested!

This is Blue. This big guy is a 1yr old, 1st generation labradoodle. Due to no fault of his own, he is in need of a loving forever home. There is a rehoming fee. Located in Hopkins, Michigan. He is utd but due at the end of the month. He is as sweet as can be!

Today Maisie the mastiff worked on holding her "place" command better, and we're learning we can watch people, dogs, and squirrels through the glass doors without raising a ruckus! She did so good and was ready for her nap after her hard work. Good job Maisie!

Little dog got to meet up with one of the kids he helped make a good citizen. Laska is WAY bigger and a fairly dominant dog, but still acts like a puppy when he sees Littles again!

My name is Blossom. The world is so scary that I won't even leave the house to use the bathroom unless I have another dog friend with me. I'm so scared I can't come up to people for pets most of the time. I'm here to learn the world isn't as scary as I think it is. Wish me luck!

My name is Mack! I'm going to be hanging out here for a while. I want to be a therapy dog! Back where I live in Arkansas, my mom is a nurse, and she helps lots of sick and hurting people, and I want to help too! I like to jump on people though, and bark at them when I'm excited. So just like mom went to nursing school, I'll be here learning how to be the best therapy dog I can be!

SAD NEWS FOR SVK9 FAMILY: CLOSING FOR 2023

Mid last week we had a dog break out with parvo in the facility. The dog was brought to the vet within a couple hours of showing symptoms and tested positive for giardia and parvo.

The facility is in lockdown, which means no one in or out for two weeks and we are following our vet's instructions on top of state recommendations.

What does this mean for the facility? Unfortunately it means we're shutting down to try to eradicate this from the facility and the dog yard the puppy was in.

I was told the puppy that tested positive was fully vaccinated. Unfortunately that wasn't the case and that's on me for not double checking. This puppy has not been in public as far as I'm aware, and the other dogs in the household are fully vaccinated I'm told.

Unfortunately parvo can be brought in by a fully vaccinated dog. Whether they stepped in contaminated soil, or brushed up against a dog that was shedding the virus, and carry it home on their coat. It can be brought home by people too in the same manner.

My vets say it's very rare for a fully vaccinated dog to break out in parvo, but it's not something we are willing to risk. We love our clients and our four legged friends too much.

If anyone wants to donate old towels, mops, bleach, buckets, other cleaning supplies, etc we would be happy to have the help.

Probably miss Blossom's last update! She is home and happy! You can see in the video she is wagging her tail and even licking her owners hand for attention. This is something she would RARELY do before coming for training! The super scary doorway is still a little scary, so we will continue working on that, but she is consistently going outside to go potty now! Something she refused to do before. Blossom the golden is doing so much better! She's not there yet, but progress! Look at the difference in her body language compared to the previous videos and you'll see how far she's coming. Blossom gets to go home Friday with daily in home sessions for a while. PROGRESS!!! It may seem little, but this is a BIG step for miss Blossom. The end of day three has her coming up and asking for scratches and even allowing the leash to be put on her! A lot of you may wonder why I'm not using treats. In miss Blossom's case, she's so nervous of everything she will not take treats, but enjoys calm scratches and pets that aren't forced on her. So we use that as she's comfortable (or in her case, somewhat comfortable 😅) as a positive reward.
