Being that we are taking a break from being a foster for Stephanie's Shepherds Rescue, Rehab and Training, 501C3 , Felon and I would love to help out by doing a fundraiser.

Between now and December 20th, we're hosting a short story contest. The theme being what your rescue/shelter dog(s) would want for Christmas. The winner will be getting a $50 Tractor Supply Company gift card, I'm hoping to find second and third place prizes as I reach out to more businesses.

There's a pretty good argument for teaching your dog to ride nicely in your car. Not negating that crates are safer and should be used, however in the event of a car jacking or even someone approaching your car, that's where your protection dog should shine. As a woman who travels alone mostly, having your dog with you at all times is the safest thing for you, and in the event of things going down, you don't have the time that you think you do. When someone starts to approach your car you're not going to have the time to let your dog out of the crate. Teach them to travel well. Teach them to scan, and teach them to deploy out of a window. #malinoislife #malinoisdog #malinios
