College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1978, Dr. Ken Luckow opened up his practice in Fort Salonga NY. In addition to his responsibilities in Fort Salonga, Dr. Luckow also has a seasonal housecall practice on Fire Island (May-Nov) for those of you who are residents or weekenders and choose to bring your pets to the beach.You can follow Dr. Luckow's Fire Island adventures in his column "Tails of the Fire Island Vet" published in The Fire Island Tide.

I would like to thank all of my clients from out here for your continued support, but unfortunately this summer I’ve had to dedicate my time to my practice on the mainland Fort Salonga Animal Hospital. I’m sorry that I’m not available to help with all of your needs, but I look forward to getting back out there and seeing everyone again soon!
