After almost a week stay in our isolation ward,we are happy to report that nine kittens are on the road to recovery from the Panleukopenia virus and being sent home for the holiday!
Once they are a little older, fully recovered, and vaccinated, they will be up for adoption. 🐾
We are asking this holiday season, if you are able to, please make a donation towards this hospitalization of nine kittens to the rescue so they can continue to rescue more, especially during the holiday season🐾

As our celebration comes to an end for the week, please remember to be curitious and kind to the amazing vet techs, and staff at VMH! They do 10 or more different roles in one day that should take multiple people to do! They multi-task and zoom from the lab to the surgery room to the exam room to the recovery room...
They make phone calls, fill medications, check labs, run diagnostics, take radiographs, perform dental procedures, prep for sugery and monitor anesthesia on your pet, and the list goes on and on.
Our technicians went to Veterinary Technician school and became licensed to help save animals lives and help educate the public. They are well suited to care for your pets and when they do, they give so much love and quality care to them. Thank you Vet Techs for all that you do every day! 🐾🩺🫶🏼
Thank you also to the entire staff at VMH for staff appreciation week for being amazing at everything you do! And of course this week was bosses day and we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for our wonderful doc, Dr. Schwartz!
We all love what we do at VMH and we try to even make the sad and hard days decent days, with the support from one another. 🩷

As a reminder we are open tomrorow, Saturday, from 8-12. The Doctor is not in this weekend or next! This is a tech weekend. ☺️
Tech visits include routine vaccines (except rabies),nail trims, heartworm tests and more!
The kittens are still nursing on mamma kitty, but they are also eating canned kitten food and starting to eat dry . They are becoming active, learning about toys, using the litter box, figuring out water dishes, and more! Each of them are showing off there little personalities as they start to grow more 🤗
If you are interested we are still accepting applications for the 3 needing homes and mamma cat!

Our 2 black kitties are extra playful and wild today after the weekend! They have also begun exploring new hiding and sleeping spots in the cat room.
They have been fully vaccinated now and still looking for there forever homes! 🐾🐾
