Happy 5th Birthday to Tinkerbell, Paris, Penny, Winnie, Mickey, Olive, Hercules, Milo, and Frankie!!! 🎉 We love you all so much, and hope you’re having the best day with your families! ❤️
And I can’t forget my pretty London girl. We didn’t even get a full year with her, before she was tragically taken from us. 💔 But she left us with a lifetime of memories. And every time I look at I see a bit of her Aunt London in her. 🥰

BIRTHDAY POST!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Again, my instagram sharing isn’t working properly…so I’m posting it separately.

Happy 4th Birthday to our beautiful Athena x Rebel puppies!!! River, Arya, Iris, Zeus, Reggie, Bucky, and Frankie. 💗💙 This litter was born 36 hours after we lost our London girl, and I desperately needed them to keep me busy & to help heal my broken heart. They were such a blessing. And I hope they are all having a terrific birthday with their families today.

It felt good to see my River girl the other day. 💗 After doing a quick sniff of everything on the first floor, she darted upstairs to what had been her bedroom. But, after she & my daughter moved out, I turned their bedroom into a (much needed) bedroom for the grandbabies. River stopped dead in her tracks when she ran into the room. She had to cautiously sniff everything in there…even the walls that I’d painted. Not even the new light fixture went unnoticed. But once she caught the babies’ scents in their beds, she went nuts. Her little stubby tail going 100 mph! I wish I would’ve taken a video.
After she was convinced that everything new was okay, she plopped down in front of the door and instantly started snoring away. 🥹
That litter (River, Iris, Arya, Zeus, Reggie, Frankie, and Bucky) will always hold a special place in my heart. They were born just a little over 24 hrs after I tragically lost my London girl. And I desperately needed them in that moment. I chose my River girl, very carefully, to help fill the void that London’s passing left. And she was definitely the right choice. Her soulful eyes still completely melt me. I miss her terribly. But I know she’s where she belongs…with my other girl (that I also miss terribly). Thankfully, they only live 5 mins away. 💕

Look who came for a visit today!!! I thought I was emotionally prepared for this visit, but that was clearly not the case. I sat and balled for a solid 15 minutes while hugging & petting her. 😭😭😭 Then I pulled it together and we explored a bit. It’s been nearly 3 months since she’s been here, so she was happy to check everything out & give it all a once over. I sure have missed my River girl. 💗🐾🐾

Look who came over to hang out at our house today. 💜 and her brother Apollo lost power at their house, so I went & picked them up, so they could hang out here where it’s nice & cool.
I also stopped by to see her sweet sister since they’re neighbors & live just around the corner from each other. 🥰
I sure do miss my sweet girls.

Couldn’t let the day get past me without wishing a Happy National Dog Day to our whole crew! I love them all so very much, but I’ve been super busy all day, and I don’t have time to scroll through all my pics of everyone. So I just went with the most recent dog pic. And Brighton was the winner! 💕🐾🐾

I apologize for being silent on here for most of the summer. We’ve had an extremely busy couple of months. But the hectic, frantic chaos paid off this past Saturday, as we celebrated our daughter & her new husband. Backyard weddings are a daunting task, but the day turned out to be perfect. And we couldn’t have been more pleased with the result. A big shoutout to family & friends for helping us make it happen! 💕
We’re so excited for these two to begin their life together. 💗
And now….we relax.

We’ve got some extra houseguests for the next month or so! Athena & Zeus and their whole family are staying with us while they get some work done at their house. Zeus didn’t know what to think at first. But Athena was pretty excited to come back “home.” ❤️

We were gone camping at Cedar Point for a few days. And I’m in denial that we had to come home. So this guy is keeping me company in the motorhome while I pretend I’m still camping, and work on planning for my daughter’s wedding.
