After almost 8 years in business, we are passing the baton to a new owner, Britt Kendrick. We can't thank everyone enough for all the support over the years, we will miss all of our 2 and four-legged clients but we are thrilled that the business will remain locally-owned and woman-owned and operated in the capable hands of Britt. 🙂

Ok, 1 more kitty that needs a home :) Meet Vinny! He's a 7 year old, neutered male. Vinny had a benign polyp in his left ear that was removed by the Fort Collins Cat Rescue (he also had a dental at the same time), which is why he has earned the name, 2-faced Vinny here at the Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency & Rehabilitation Hospital (and also to differentiate him from our technician Vinny :). Despite the funny haircut, Vinny has adapted to life here in the hospital very well. He is very friendly and super sweet...someone needs to hurry up and adopt this guy before he convinces me to bring him home...he's such an awesome boy!! You can come meet and visit with Vinny anytime here at the hospital (816 S. Lemay) where he will stay until he has a forever home (adoption will be through the Fort Collins Cat Rescue). Thanks everyone!

Meet Pebbles! She is a 5-6 month old, spayed female and is available for FREE to a good home (she will also come with kitty supplies). Pebbles is healthy and up to date on most vaccines (records will come with her too). Pebbles was living with her owner in an apartment where pets are not allowed and she was unfortunately discovered by the management. She is very sweet, playful and litter box trained! Please just let me know if you're interested in adopting or fostering, thanks!!

Meet Marble! Marble is a 13 year old, neutered male cat who is available for adoption through the Fort Collins Cat Rescue. We became good buddies while he stayed with us at the Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency & Rehabilitation Hospital (he was not with us for medical reasons--just for advertising purposes :). Marble is a little older but very healthy and up to date on vaccines. I LOVE this kitty but am unable to take on any more fur-kids right now due to space and financial constraints. Marble would likely
do best in a quiet home (probably without dogs or young children) with someone who doesn't mind lots of kitty love in return for pets and a warm lap :) Please contact the FC Cat Rescue if you are interested, thanks!!

It was Ziggy's turn at CSU last week...emergency surgery for a colonic torsion. She's recovering well and was in excellent hands :) Thanks to all who helped with her speedy "untwisting" and recovery!

Thank you to everyone for thinking of Thor!! Your happy thoughts must have worked because his doc believes she can remove just the sarcoma with clean margins and not his whole leg, yay!!! CSU also has some generous donors who will be helping Thor's mom pay for his surgery, amazing! :)

What your dogs stomach should NOT look like....this was Ziggy after Squidward, her feline partner in crime, helped her break into the dog food closet, she gained 12 lbs...silly fat dog.

If you love dogs please pray, cross your fingers, meditate, whatever you believe in, for Thor (ziggy's bf), he has a bad (cancerous mass) on his elbow that might require amputation of his front leg :( happy thoughts for one of our best buddies! Thank u!!
