Let’s talk fly protection!

Some may think fly sheets, boots, masks etc are just a way to make our horses look silly. Even though there is some truth to that… fly protection is a vital part of some horses’ summer health. Some horses have adverse allergic reactions to insect bites, some horses are extremely heat intolerant so the white reflective sheets help keep them cool. And let’s be honest, sometimes dressing your horse with the cutest pattern or color just makes us feel like we are doing our best for our horses.

It's National Farriers Week! Let's celebrate the hard work that our farriers put in daily to partner with equine veterinarians and ensure the health and well-being of our horses. Proper hoof care is essential for a sound and happy horse, so it goes without saying that a skilled farrier is both a necessity and a tremendous asset.
