Appalachian Animal Rescue Center

Appalachian Animal Rescue Center The Macon County Humane Society, established in 1962, has been and is a valuable service to the people of Macon County. We are a registered 501c3. Paws & Kisses
(53)

Our federal tax ID is 56-6060204 From Our Furry Friends:

Some of us have never been in a home, but we will try our best to adapt quickly to our new surroundings. If you have other pets at home, we will try to make friends with them. Sometimes it takes time. Please be patient with us. Don't give up on us. We will love you to the day we say "good-bye". If you take us home, the only thing we ask is

to bring us back to Appalachian Animal Rescue Center just so we can visit and say hello to the people who took care of us. Appalachian Animal Rescue Center is required to see that we are spayed or neutered and all of our shots are up to date before our adoption is final. If we aren't spayed or neutered, please consider fostering one of us. So just give us a chance, if it wasn't meant to be, you can bring us back to our friends at Appalachian Animal Rescue Center and they will take care of us.

Superman is ready to take down the villains! He doesn't shoot lasers out of his eyes or fly, but he is strong. He battles his enemies by giving loads of kisses and hugs(hurt them with kindness right?). He loves all his fellow Justice League members, but his nemesis is the cat. Superman also loves cuddling with kids, he's a true superhero.

*Mags has been placed on hold :D *

Sweet Mags. Mags is an old, old man that came to us. He had to be seen by the vet this past Saturday... Unfortunately he has Congestive Heart Failure; his heart still has some love to give. He will need to be on 2 medications. This old man still wants to go for walks and cuddle. If you know of anyone looking to help a senior dog out, please send them our way.

Stewy came to us 604 days ago from an animal hoarder situation. His sister and mother were adopted almost immediately, leaving Stewy behind. Stewy is a quiet boy who wants to be friends, but is a little shy. Stewy needs someone who will be there for him and who will give him time. Stewy loves making new friends with other canines. He's definitely an introvert, and that's ok.
