My grandmother's funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon. I don't think I will be up to teaching Fit Pup tomorrow night. Sorry guys. I'll try and regroup on the schedule next week.

Well found the piece of stick.... it's wedged on the roof of Beezley's mouth. Not sure how I or the vet missed this....
Gonna have to have it surgically removed today. Pray for my Beez

Beezley Update:
Beez continues to recover from the stick incident on Friday. He still seems to have some irritation in his throat. But he's slowly starting to drink water without any trouble and is able to eat soft food in small amounts. We're monitoring him for signs of aspiration pnemonia but so far no fever. We still don't know if the piece of stick went down into the stomach or lungs.
Thank you for all of the kind words and prayers ❤. Hopefully Mr. Beez continues to heal and get back to his normal self.

In all my years of working in veterinary medicine, I've never had a scary experience like what just happened. I've assisted in saving the lives of many animals in the past. But never my own dog....
I took Beezley for a potty walk and he bit off a piece of a stick. The stick got stuck and he couldn't breathe. His gums turned white and his tongue turned purple. I was able to give him the doggie heimlich and knock the piece lose so he could breathe. But only after several minutes and attempts.
Beezley can now breathe, but swallowing isn't normal and the vet isn't sure where the stick is...
He's now on respiratory watch and another trip to the ER vet may be in our future tonight. The vet told me that I saved his life.. I've finally come out of the fight or flight mode and I'm so upset.

It's with a heavy heart I have to cancel class for tonight. I'm the trained one in the house and hope I don't have to do this again later.
Please keep us and Beezley in your prayers ❤

We're making some BIG changes to Fit Pup class. As of today we'll only be holding classes every other Saturday at 11:30AM. I know this is a bummer for those of you who attend Wednesday evenings 😣. Bare with us as we update our website to reflect this change.

Within the next several months we'll be changing over to a new Fit Pup class day completely. It's been wonderful over the past few years working with all of you. Unfortunately Fit Pup has just never quite caught on to the masses. Due to this, I'm trying my luck with the new company ZoomiePetZ.

I love all of my faithful clients and pups ❤️. So please bare with me as I make adjustments that have to be done 🐾
