MHSA Regional Finals & BEST Indoor Classic was a smashing success. The days turned in to nights but riders and grooms kept smiling and our horses and ponies gave it there. Congrats to our riders and their families. This sport takes a village.
A special thanks to Marianne and Charmaine for taking the reins on Friday. And all the love for our grooms Mary George, Danielle and Melissa - fairly certain you put in 20 hour days and we are beyond grateful the exceptional care you take of the horses. 🌻

Meet this year's WIHS Kind Wins Award winners Sue Chambers a Maryland based trainer who runs Quinn Haven Stables, and The Kindness Movement founded by young rider Izzy Baker and Paige Walkenbach!

Sue Chambers has created the QHS pledge to promote a safe riding space to all, at Quinn Haven Stables. All riders and their parents have to sign the QHS pledge to promote good sportsmanship. Each year all participants have to re-sign the pledge.

The Kindness Movement, led by Izzy Baker and Paige Walkenbach, fosters empathy, sportsmanship, and inclusion within the equestrian world. They address bullying through social media by providing resources and support, especially for younger equestrians.

We kicked off the first of the QHS clinic series with Jennifer Taylor of Challenger Farms. We all had a blast, learned a few things and can't wait to practice hunt teams more! Thanks Jenn for taking a few hours away from Washington to spend some time with Team QHS. 🌻

🥉 Jamrock & Kinsley finished 3rd in the the WIHS Regional Hunter Finals Ponies
⭐️ Lombard 198 & Mary George had a great trip and barely missed the cut-off
⭐️ Qrazy Love & Melissa it was Freddie's first indoors and he just got better and better, thanks to some great riding
⭐️ Color Me Happy & Katie made a great debut
Could not me more proud of these ladies! Thank you for the QHS Family who came out in full force and tuned in online. Roth has been an incredible friend and help this entire week and we are so grateful. Thanks to Chad Keenum, Charmaine and Lori for making the magic happen and to all who helped us pack up.

Beautiful 11yo top of the line imported small pony gelding by Diptford Sraratrraction.
Biscuit is a hack winner, brave to the jumps with the best canter rhythm and makes it down the lines with ease. He also likes to hack out and loves attention. He is a super special pony with the best personality, a barn favorite.

For more years than we can count the Maryland Horse and Pony Show has always been one of our favorites. And the 2024 edition was fantastic - picture perfect weather, amazing hospitality, and a great staff. Our horses and ponies were on their A game in some excellent competition. Congrats to all our riders and thanks to the team in barn for making sure everyone was on time and looking great! And a big thank you to the set-up and break down team! 🌻
