Rabies and micro-chips.

Rip is here to ask Is your cat or dog microchipped? In the event that they ever went missing this little chip provides very valuable information to vet offices, animal shelters, or Good Samaritans. This little chip provides your pets information such as age, name, breed, and any medical issues. But most importantly it connects us to you, if your chip is registered with all of your information we are able to get that information and make direct contact with you to reunite your pet.

We will be at the Norway fire station this Saturday, September 21 doing rabies vaccines($20) and microchips($25). We encourage pet owners to come by to vaccinate their pets or get them a microchip for a lifetime of protection in the event of they ever were to get lost🐾🩷

In my hand is an actual microchip to help you better understand the size of them, it is a very easy process to do. They are inserted through a needle inbetween your pets shoulder blades and they are placed just under the skin.

Gomer.....😍 Handsome, sweet, independent, and adorably drooly! Gomer is a 7.5 y/o hound mix who came to us due to some disputes with neighborhood dogs. This cutie is cuddly, silly, and such a stud! He has lived with children, though we would recommend 8+. Gomer has been around many different dogs, though if a dog doesn’t like him he will reciprocate the feeling and wont back down from a fight. This handsome guy knows some basic commands and is crate trained. He needs some work on his leash manners when excited, but is quite a wonderful gentleman otherwise!

ADOPTED!!!!!!!!!! Olive❤❤ Olive is a ~12 week old boxer/hound mix that was surrendered to us. She is currently in foster care working on her crate training, house training and socialization. YUKON ❤ Handsome, sweet, and so darn intelligent! Yukon is around four years old and was surrendered because his home was not a good fit. This playful boy has tons of energy and is still a puppy at heart! Yukon is best suited in an active and experienced home that will continue his training. He MUST be an only animal. Yukon would be happiest with a tall fenced in yard and lots of toys! Yukon LOVES people but due to some of his puppy behaviors we would recommend 13+ for children. Petey is an approximately 5 year old pitty mix that came to us when his home was not a good fit. This handsome boy takes “stranger danger” seriously, however, a few cookies and and some patience and you’ve made your way into his big, big heart! Once Petey gets to know you, he is a total love. He loves to play with his stuffies, get love from his people, and learn new things! He currently knows how to sit, paw, and we are working on laying down on command. He is a quick learner that would do well in a home that gives him the time, patience, and love he deserves. Petey is a fairly dominant male that gets nervous around new people and other animals. He would do best as the only pet in a quiet home.
