Here is what Covers for Critters has been up to in 2024. Seven puppies and dogs have been adopted to wonderful homes. During the freeze outdoor dogs enjoyed warm sweaters and we volunteered at the Empty the Shelter free Spay and Neuter clinic. Thanks to generous contibutions we built 3 new dog runs to keep pups off of chains. Donations of dog and cat food we fed 15 animals in our less fortunate areas of Fulshear.

Meet sweet Buddy. Buddy along with his brother and sister were dumped on a side road in Simonton. His sister has found a wonderful new family who loves her gentle spirit. Buddy has been rescued by Covers for Critters. He is resting comfortably after his neuter. Buddy is a sweet and loving 1 year old pup only 30lb. He is very calm and great on a leash. I need help traping a dog. There is a dog that was dumped on Ashe Road along with 2 brothers. She is very shy and hides under a house. She has had 1 litter of puppies already that Covers for Critters is fostering. We have an appointment on Friday to have her spayed since she will just continue to have more puppies.
I have no idea how to trap her since she runs and hides under a house. I have
trazodone to give her but don't want her to go under the house or into the woods after I give it to her. I will need to catch her on Thursday evening so I can take her early Friday. I know about rottissory chicken! Suggestions?????

Covers for Critters is in need of housing for several dogs who have no shelter.
They are dumped dogs that someone is caring for. We are providing food.
One of the dogs has a litter of 7 puppies. Please let me know if you have a house that can keep these dogs warm. Here are the adorable puppies.
