Squish & Bambi need your help!! Please help us spread the word!!

These sweet sisters are 9-10 years old, fixed, chipped & UTD. They are so sweet and low maintenance. They are the most content girls ever -- But they were dealt such a sad hand. They were left behind at the Boarding Kennel 3 years ago, when their owner never made it back for them. 💔🥺 They've spent so long locked up, and are just dreaming of a yard they can call their own. A place where they can just roam and soak in the sun - a place they can be Free.

They are bonded, and do need to go together. They are seriously happy with just a yard of their own and a couch to chew bones on when they're inside.

This girl is too smart. Earlier today I told her if she kept stealing my socks I was going to make her wear them. (she did it again. See Exhibit A.) I guess she figured if she's going to have to utilize whatever she steals, she might as well steal the cash.. and I can't even be mad. As if her food doesn't cost me enough, now she's just eating the money itself.... 🤦‍♀️😅🤣🤣🤣

June's head is hanging off the bed, front legs are chasing something (a cat, definitely a cat.) and back legs are in an upside down Pibble Sploot. Because what could be more comfy than that??

Miss June is still looking for her Furever Home. She is just the sweetest girl. She makes me laugh on the daily, and smile til my face hurts. She is so lovable 😍❤️

Guys, Gals & Fur Pals - - Please help me share my sweet girls Far and Wide! I could never do all that I do without all of your help, and these girls deserve the world!

The TLDR info:
Meet Squish and Bambi. These sweet Senior sisters are approximately 10 years old, Spayed, Chipped and UTD. They have spent the last few years living in a boarding kennel, and although they are typically pretty content with anything in their life - we want more than that for them. Their owner had rescued them, and then encountered some health issues that resulted in them boarding with us, and unfortunately she was never able to come back for them.

The other fun "deets":
These girls are content with the smallest things in life. A backyard to just wander freely in, and a couch to chew on a bone on. That's really all they need in their lives. They are very sweet, love all people. They probably would do best without other pets, but they've never really shown any interest in them, other than fence reaction - which unfortunately comes with the territory of being kennel dogs.

They are so fun, and they are happy to entertain themselves / each other. Open the door, and they will just Chase each other around the yard for hours. And when they're not doing that, they just want to lounge around. We just really want to find them a place to spend the rest of their days together, safe and happy.

Both recently saw the vet, Bambi as healthy as can be, with just a small tear duct issue that doesn't give her any concern. Squish does require special diet, due to some GI issues, but other than that both are in great shape! If you, or someone you know, have space in your heart and lives for these sweet sweet sisters - please reach out!

Life is all about Perspective Friends. Yesterday there was 6" of water outside this door. In the next 24-36 hours we will be facing a potentially Catastrophic Hurricane. Today - right now - it is beautiful and peaceful outside. Take a deep breath. Take in the moment now. You don't know what tomorrow will look like. Anxiety and Tension is so high, everyone is scattered and rushed. Take a moment to be thankful for what you have right now. That deep breath can help carry you thru the storm.

As a PSA - remember to always keep copies of your vets records on hand, or download your Vet's apps if they have them! In situations like this, when you need to evacuate, your Vet may be closed, or dealing with a major influx of people requesting shot records for evacuations.
It's important to have those things on hand in case something like this happens. You will not be able to get into shelters or most important facilities without those!

(I suppose this goes for your Kiddos' records and important docs too - I'm just the Crazy Animal Lady! 😁😂)

We're here to take in your babies if you need to leave - but if you are staying and have the room and heart to take in a baby from the loud scary shelters - please do so! ACAR will be accepting Storm Fosters all day tomorrow. (Closed for all other Services)

Ladies & Gentlemen, meet Squish and Bambi! 😍Mixed Breed, Spayed Female maybe~8 years old (Squish-the brown, wiry haired one, maybe rat terrier mix? Bambi-the squishy white & tan one we believe is a Shar-Pei terrier mix)

These Sisters have been forwarded with us here a long time and are ready to find a home with a yard they can romp and run in. They are very bonded, so we believe they would do best together. They're a little older, so content to lay on the couch and chew a bone - but they do really love to play outside with each other, and Zoomies are common! If these girls could have a house with a backyard to run and a couch with a two-bone - they would be the most content happy girls ever. They are so sweet, and they deserve that happy.

Their story is one we unfortunately see more often than we would like. They were brought into board with us, shortly after their mother rescued them herself, and unfortunately her health led to a very extended stay, and was unable to return for them. These girls have been with us for over 2 years, and although they see this as home, it's not the home we want for them. They are so sweet and so fun, and they deserve a shot at a safe and happy furever. Please help us share their story!

As a pup who spends most of her time, for most of her life, in a kennel, waiting on her Furever Family to come along - this is the result of a day spent in a comfy bed with her very own fan...
Laughs, snuggles, singing the songs of her people... Heck she even tried to take some selfies she was so excited!! 📸💫

Who's ready to give this beautiful sweet girl a comfy bed of her own?? All she wants is a family to love her - she's chronically happy, and incapable of letting anyone feel down! ❤️❤️

Sweet, Amazing Sammy Boy is off to his next adventure! I am going to miss my Sammich Hugs so so much - but so grateful for Florida Giant Dog Rescue, Inc. For taking him on and helping to find his perfect Furever. They even rented a whole van just for Sammy to be able to sprawl out and ride on his bed in the back for his 3 hour commute. My heart! ❤️You're off to great things Sampson

Daisy is 6years old, Spayed, chipped, UTD. good with people, Great with kids. Good with most other dogs, with proper introduction. She's freakin hilarious guys. Best zoomies ever, world winning army crawl, blanket hog, stuffie shredder... Just the absolute best. People have done her so wrong in her time, and you would never know it. She loves with her whole wiggly Pibble body and heart.

Someone just asked me, so I decided to be one of those annoying people who puts these things out there... But YES I do work with multiple Rescues and at a Kennel, (and have a probably unhealthy level of obsession with all of the furbabies) and YES I would love to take all of your used, old (or new!) extra Towels, Blankets, sheets, dog beds, toys (stuffies for shredding - always a hit!), etc off your hands. I'm sure it could be used somewhere! 😅 (Also always really excited for leashes and bins with lids. Random, but essentials! 🤷🏼‍♀️)
