Amazing update on our handsome Eugene who was left at our door!

His name is now Smokey, and he is absolutely living his best life! Thank you to his new owners for the update and for opening their home to him. I don't think we could have found a better fit! Look how happy 🥰

Edit: He has returned home to his owner!!

Found by the rec center in town. No collar or microchip. Intact male. Please call city hall before claiming. Proof of rabies is needed in order for him to leave! Please share!

10/16 12:47pm update - we have been contacted by a very generous Good Samaritan who is willing to sponsor Eugene’s adoption and pay half of the adoption fee - meaning the fee would only be $75! The Good Sam along with ourselves just want to make sure this gentleman finds a loving home!

We are guessing him to be around 2 years old. His demeanor is absolutely purrfect! The sweetest boy who wants nothing from you but pets. He will be neutered, vaccinated for rabies and feline distemper combination, treated for ear mites and intestinal parasites, as well as being tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Eugene was waiting for our opening staff member Monday morning, cold and scared in a carrier outside our door.

We are guessing him to be around 2 years old. His demeanor is absolutely purrfect! The sweetest boy who wants nothing from you but pets. October 13th-19th is National Veterinary Technician Week, to recognize the hard work put in day to day by veterinary technicians everywhere. We will be spending this week showing our appreciation for our techs!

I am going to start this post by restating that we are NOT a shelter. We especially do not take in cats due to the high stray population.

That being said, our opening staff member came in to a surprise this morning. This poor guy was left in a carrier outside our front door, scared and cold.

We are looking to see if there would be any interest in adopting this guy. He is a male, about 2 years old, and is currently intact but would not be sent home that way. He is super sweet, and has not made a single hiss or grumble towards us. An adoption fee of $150 would be needed, that would include neutering, rabies and distemper combination vaccine, as well as deworming, ear mite treatment, and FIV/FeLV testing.

I am not making this post to encourage hateful comments, we are simply trying to find him a home!

Edit! Owner has been found!

Uh oh 😕 Somebody broke their lead this morning! She was picked up by the Britt PD and brought to us. She’s in very good spirits, but I’m sure someone is missing her!

No microchip, collar but no tags. Proof of rabies, please!

This handsome man was wrangled and brought in this morning from Central Park! If you recognize him, please get ahold of city hall! He is an intact male, no collar or microchip.

❗️4️⃣3️⃣❗️

43 trucks and trailers (even a sedan with a lamb in the passenger seat! 🤣) came through our lot loaded done with exhibitors and their project animals!

Thank you all for making this year another success. So exciting to see, and we wish all participants good luck in the coming weeks of shows!

TODAY from 2-4pm are drive thru health certificates for up coming fairs!

PLEASE enter from Cottonwood Dr. so you may exit north onto Highway 18. STAY ON THE GRAVEL LOT. Do not park on the hard surface.

As you receive your health certificates, please do your best to move forward in line before paying inside if possible. You are more than welcome to pay with cash outside to avoid going into the clinic.

We want to keep this moving as swiftly as possible, but please have patience as we will still be juggling a couple small animal appointments through this.
