Do you have a dog that has...
- Allergies

- Dry or flaky skin (dandruff)
- Low energy
- Depressed mood
- Constipation

- Low immune system (slow healing wounds, and infections; allergies)
- Bad breath
- Body odor
- Flatulence/gas
- Food sensitivities
- Anxiety
- Bloat
..take a look at the "ingredients" section on your dogs food bag/can.
If you notice any of these ingredients *anywhere* in the food put it back if you want a happy, healthy, energy filled pet!
- FILLERS: Corn, Wheat, Soy, Barley, White Rice, Oatmeal
- PRESERVATIVES: Propylene glycol, Ethoxyquin, Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), Tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ), Propyl gallate.
- MEAT BY-PRODUCTS/MEAL: Byproduct meal, meat meal, meat and bone meal, chicken byproduct, turkey byproduct, beef byproduct, poultry byproduct, and many more are just another term for "slaughterhouse waste". These "meals" contain cheap animal leftovers like feet, beaks, brains, tumors, and "intestines with the best effort to remove f***s". They are rejected for human use. Unidentified or "generic" byproducts like "meat meal" can contain roadkill, dead zoo animals, dead diseased or dying animals, and euthanized dogs and cats.
DONT be fooled by "organic", "holistic", "healthy", and "natural" labeling. Read the *ingredients*. If you believe commercial pet food companies aren't willing to cut corners by purchasing the cheapest, low quality ingredients to save them money then they have you completely fooled. Any company that isn't willing to add whole foods to their recipe with simple language that YOU can understand is GOING to cut corners.
Another thing to keep in mind; commercial pet foods with these "leftover" parts are cooked at high temperatures to deem it safe from bacteria and parasites. This kills most of the nutrients, so even if the first ingredients are "whole meats" like Duck, Beef, Chicken, Turkey, or Salmon; the nutrients that your dog would be getting from the raw meat is killed through the cooking process.
This picture is what an ingredients label SHOULD look like. Whole foods, simple language, no chemical preservatives, all natural! It's also freeze dried; therefore preserving all natural nutrients.
Pet owners complain about how expensive real, natural foods cost. That's like building your dream home on sand instead of concrete because it's cheaper in the short term. These poor ingredients cause your pet to have a lower quality, shorter life, and more vet bills in the long term. Back in the 70's every 1 in 10 dogs would end up with cancer, and it was almost always in older animals. Today its 1 in 4, and the leading cause of death in middle age and older dogs. Dog food can and will SUSTAIN your dog; much like McDonald's will sustain humans. But are all the symptoms listed above worth the cheaper price only to have to suffer the grief of these horrible medical conditions? Take a close look at your dog, take a look at the symptoms list, and the ingredients label on their food, then make a decision for yourself.
