Tomorrow, Saturday March 30, 2024, from 2-6 pm, we will be hosting an open house for clients to come see our new home.

We will have snacks and drinks available along with some new clinic swag. There will also be several different raffles sponsored by our wonderful manufacturers and distributors for various products.

Due to the anticipated high volume of guests, please leave your furry friends at home.

Best Pets Animal Clinic (BPAC) is a full-service animal hospital caring for companion animals, exotics pets, and wildlife. We are looking to add a qualified technician to our team.
We have one full-time doctor, three part-time doctors, and are continuing to grow. BPAC takes pride in client services, including education, to help our patients receive advanced top of the line care at an affordable cost. Our services include small animal, exotic, and wildlife medicine, surgery and dental prophylaxis, digital radiographs, and in-practice IDEXX lab equipment.
Here at BPAC we understand the importance of a healthy work-home life balance and continuously try to engage in team building events.
Job duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting in exam rooms, treatment of hospitalized patients, preparing and administering medications, preparation of patients for surgery, maintaining patients under anesthesia, discharging patients, helping our receptionists as needed, and everyone chips in with clinic cleanliness and maintenance.
- Full-time and part-time positions are available.
- 1 year of experience is preferred.
- Pay is dependent on experience.
- Second location in Cynthiana (Pet Wellness Veterinary Center), if able to travel between both preferred, not required.

Meet our newest feathered friend, Bridget! She is a 9 week old Runner Duck. This breed is characterized by standing upright like a penguin and moves by running rather than waddling like other breeds. Such a tall and confident little lady! Welcome Bridget!

As mentioned in our previous video post, here's the specifics for good routine, at home, dental care.....
• Brushing, using an enzymatic toothpaste 2-3 times per week; daily is ideal but not always realistic.
• Chlorhexidine/Zinc (antibacterial and plaque prevention) mouth rinse 2-3 times per week, can be done daily after last meal.
• Dental Chews daily.
• OraVet plaque prevention gel weekly, 1 hour after brushing/rinsing.

Recommended brands: OraVet, Vetradent, Vetoquinol, Virbac, and VetOne to name a few that all of our doctors know and trust.

*Always look for the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council) accepted seal.
