Every time someone posts a newborn llama to FB I look out the window to see if it's my turn yet - and - nope

I have a turkey en route to my house.

Today on the farm -
- we trimmed 8 goats hooves
- the farrier trimmed Charlie the Pony and Dusty the Donkeys hooves
- I gave an adult doe goat with diarrhea a bath and medicated her
- Set her up in the infirmary pen with feed and water
- bottle fed Gene and Oreo twice (twice more before midnight)
- changed out the water tubs
- fed all the animals twice (dawn and dusk)
This is an atypical day because of the hoof trimming. My next set of babies will probably be Dot's which I expect between Dec 10-15
Next weekend I need to start re-homing some of the baby goats and baby llamas. I can't keep them all. Have too many as it is.

I was late with dinner and one of the llamas let me know she wasn't happy with me. As I walked to the feeding pen with a feed bucket and all the llamas following me like a weird 4 legged entourage she ran up behind me and planted her front hooves in my shoulder blades and almost knocked me down. I don't think she was trying to hurt me. In fact she could have just been letting me know she was happy that dinner was finally here. Either way I think it surprised her as much as it did me. I wasn't hurt and she could have easily hurt me if she wanted. Just another day on the farm.
