Appreciate the small things in life.

Sometimes when your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and you have to walk a few miles to the auto parts store to buy parts, it makes you look at things a little differently.

We take so many things for granted on a daily basis like running water to take a shower every morning before work or even electricity to power our cellular devices which we continously use to keep in touch with our family and friends.

A roof over our head to protect us from the outdoor elements and the food in our cabinets that we can conveniently purchase at our local grocery stores in the matter of minutes.

Even the relationship we have been in for years ..... most people are guilty of doing the bare minimum because we think that our significant other will always be there no matter what, but in reality today could be your last with them and you would never even know it.

So do me a favor and the next time you start your car on a blistering summer day, or when you walk to the refrigerator to get an ice cold beverage or even when you get home this evening and get in your king size bed at 10 o'clock at night and you pull your partner close to you as you fall peacefully asleep .... tell them how much you love them and how much you appreciate your life because tomorrow .......
