Such a good boy! Only his second bath in his little lifetime! Oakley weighs 29 pounds now. But all this wet weather has really messed with his coat and given him all kinds of irritated skin and a hotspot. I feel so bad for him. He’s been a good sport while treating his coat, wearing a cone, and a bodysuit occasionally. 🐾💚🐾

Someone commented on Ash’s post the other day about saving the best for last. Not particularly the best puppy or best owner, but how about the best story? Shepherd families are drawn to one another through similar stories of love, devotion and loss. We are always blessed and can empathize with the anguish when families lose their shepherd. It’s a community with a bond through this incredible breed that others can’t understand or relate to. The Hoffard family is just that!! So thankful our beautiful 🐾🩶Ash found his furever family in them after their loss of their beloved Deacon! 🥰 I know you will do your best to fill that hole in their hearts as best as you can buddy!! You’re a shepherd…you got this!! Congratulations to all!! 🐾🩶🐾

I love it when we connect with shepherd lovers just from them seeing our happy puppies living their best lives with amazing new families!! 🥰 Days like this are such a blessing and help me realize that we must be doing something right! I love that we are still in touch with probably 80% of people who have one of our puppies in their homes. So happy Iris 💜and River Birch💙 are going to be double trouble and a double blessing, in these folks lives! 🐾💜🐾💙🐾
