Monday was amazing with our Puppy Graduation! It was inspiring to see dedicated owners giving their puppies the best start in life. By proactively teaching our pups how to navigate this wild world, we avoid the frustration of correcting unwanted behaviors later on.

Our summer has been full of the most amazing overnight guests and their families! We know how much you love your furry friend and want them to feel at ease when staying with us. Here are some things you can do as a pet parent to help make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible:

Good Monday Morning! Meet my friend Zeus! This handsome boy has been part of our Stay and Train program for a little over a week. Zeus has a lot of leash reactivity and general reactivity when seeing other dogs or humans. He needs to learn how to control his sweet, crazy energy! He's a really nice dog, and I love working with him! Dog training is consistent information given over and over. This boy is doing great things! 🐾Can’t believe we are in week 5 of puppy class! Hi everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Fourth of July! Today marks two weeks since Gunner and I started working together, and I'm thrilled with his progress. He initially struggled with severe anxiety, but today we successfully went on our first field trip, and it went wonderfully! Tomorrow, we're excited to visit his mom and dad and show them just how far he has come. While we still have plenty of work ahead, I'm incredibly pleased with where we are right now. Good morning! We are looking forward to an amazing day! Dom goes home today, and Lily and Leo are back for day train. Walking your dog is a super easy relationship-building exercise when you’re doing it right! Here are a couple of tips to help with your walk: 1. Randomly ask your dog for a sit. Slow your pace and ask for a sit to create engagement and give them a treat! 2. If your dog decides to lead the walk, turn and go in the other direction. They will quickly learn to pay attention to the person at the other end of the leash! Hope this helps your walk and your pups get to join in more activities! Contact us if you need help! Good morning! Yesterday, Dom and I had a check-in visit with his family. Dom is an incredibly sweet dog with a strong-willed personality and a bit of a stubborn streak. Previously, his assertive and bratty behavior often left his family struggling to manage him, and he had quite the history of costly destruction! 😳 With only a few days left in our stay-and-train program, Dom has made tremendous progress. His parents are now equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide Dom with a happier, less anxious life. Good morning! Meet Dom! He came Thursday afternoon for our Stay and Train Program! He’s a super nice boy. But has some things….Everytime you try to walk him he bites the leash and alligator rolls unless you are letting him drag you! He likes to poop in the house not out on walks. He only knows how to sit and that is only if he feels the need to do it for you… he failed his Pet Smart group class and his parents were stuck. Well Dom is a tough bird with lots of his own strong opinions of what he actually needs to do. I have been working with him and we are doing much better! We have a super long way to go but I 100% believe we are on the right path to greatness!
