For first-time and non regularly scheduled grooming appointments, the cost will be slightly higher to account for the extra time and care needed.

However, we have always offered a **5.00 off discount** to clients who prebook and maintain a 6 to 8 week schedule, ensuring your dog stays groomed regularly.

To guarantee an appointment we suggest **prebooking** . This helps us plan ahead and make sure we can fit you in.

**Several clients prebook for the entire year** to secure a spot, especially during busy seasons!

Our price guide does NOT include pricing for dematting and excessive deshedding. Pricing varies depending on severity.

Doggy Daycare information

At Kim's Pet Resort, we design our schedule around the rotation method. This type of schedule offers the most benefits to our four-legged guests. Plus, it’s widely recognized as the most structured and healthy way to keep our dogs engaged!

A rotational schedule is exactly what it sounds like. Throughout the day, we continuously rotate our dogs through schedule blocks. That means for every 45 minutes of play, your dog gets 15 minutes of rest to relax and recharge.

The rest periods give our staff a chance to make sure no one is getting overtired, dehydrated, or overstimulated and to check that everyone’s happy and healthy.

Because dogs do best with structure and routine, this schedule teaches them exactly what to expect and promotes a less anxious mindset. The world is a lot less scary when everything is familiar!

As we rotate our dogs through their designated play and rest times, they’ll have access to all sorts of comforts. That includes:
-Air conditioning on warm and hot days to help prevent overheating
-Heat when it’s chilly out so no one’s ears and toes get too cold.
-Frequently cleaned and sanitized rest areas so everyone stays happy and healthy
-Toys and equipment to encourage playing and exercise

In addition to separating our dogs’ days into blocks of play and rest, we also separate our dogs into groups according to a variety of factors: their size, age, activity level, and temperament. Putting our dogs into these groups allows us to better supervise playtimes and make sure no one’s having trouble keeping up or not enjoying themselves. As your dog grows and develops, they may transition to different playgroups, adapting to their changing confidence and play preferences.

This is a sample schedule. Daily activities and times may vary per dog group.
8:00 -9:00 am Arrivals
The dog checks in with its daycare buddies. Any belongings they bring are placed into their bins while they wait in their crates for play-date to begin. Leash walks.
9:00 - 11:30 am Morning Activities
The dog will participate with their friends in ball-fetching, chasing games, wrestling, climbing, tunnel running, and many special activities we schedule from time to time.
11:30 – 12:30 am Individual Attention
Leash walks. When we distribute snacks and lunch, each dog has a few special moments alone with a staff member.
12:30 HALF day pick up
12:30 – 1:30 pm Nap Time
Yes, your dog will actually rest while they’re here! Dogs rest in their crates with soft music and lights out. This is important quiet time as your dog has had a very active morning and will need to relax and recharge
1:30 HALF day pick up/drop off
1:30 – 4:00 pm Afternoon Activities
In the afternoon, along with several leash walks, the dogs will experience a slower pace of play, just as much fun but with less vigor.
4:00 – 4:45 pm Individual Attention
Leash walks. When we distribute snacks and dinner, each dog has a few special moments alone with a staff member.
4:45 – 6:00 pm Pick Up Time
Each dog unwinds and relaxes while we clean before you arrive to take them home.
