I’m looking for a Dalmatian, German Shepard, and bird dog (pointer/setter look) to join my team of amazing dog models for upcoming events I will be hosting in October and possibly November.

Must have great basic obedience skills. Super strong standing stay is a plus.

Must be ok around other dogs. It’s fine if they have their bubble or space but if they are the aggressor I will not work with them.

If they love water that’s a plus but not needed for this particular project because we’re going into the woods.

Water can’t hold back Daisy from her dream which is to always catch that Frisbee 😆.

I’ve not had the chance the use my camera since I managed to injure my neck. I am fine! Just really messed it up from doing stupid things thinking it would help which landed me into the ER and forced to recover and relax....which is a difficult task for me to do because I love working and being on the go lol.

Water can't hold back Daisy from her dream which is to always catch that Frisbee 😆.

I've not had the chance the use my camera since I managed to injure my neck. I am fine! Just really messed it up from doing stupid things thinking it would help which landed me into the ER and forced to recover and relax....which is a difficult task for me to do because I love working and being on the go lol.

Hoping to get these model calls rescheduled as soon as I'm in the clear and able to lift my camera up. Until then, I'll be posting photos from this session I had with my girl and a special doggie model who joined in the fun while Daisy took a break. ☺️

The beautiful colors of Twilight setting on the Chesapeake Bay. It's been a while since I've been able to get out and photograph dogs in the water. In all honesty, I think I've been out with my camera maybe 4 times this year which is crazy!

This perfectly posed and handsome boy is Blaze. Who's personality, love for the water, and incredible yet graceful energy created some of the best photos I've taken to date. His family and Blaze were such a joy to work with back in April.

Hi Everyone!

My latest model call sessions are still postponed until this heat goes away. If you've worked with me before, then you know how important your dogs safety means to me. If I won't let my own dogs work in the heat, then I would never ask that of your dogs.

I'm hoping these temps will drop soon because what I have planned is something amazing and the dogs I have on my list so far fit exactly what I am searching for.

Forcing myself to not compete in any photo competitions has been hard this year. I cracked and competed in a fun little competition and won some money again 😆. Troy, Morgan, and Daisy took the prize this time and it makes my heart happy that so many others love my dogs being themselves on camera.

My favorite competition just opened up, the Dog Photography Awards, and while I'm forcing myself to not compete, I highly encourage others to try this honest and life changing competition out. I placed 2nd over all in the action category the first year the Dog Photography Awards started back in 2021 and from there my photography skyrocketed. I believe competing brings out this drive that makes us want to achieve something great and pushes those to create magic through their camera lens in hopes of being recognized as one of the top dog photographers in the world.

If competing isn't your thing I totally get it. But for me, it was one of those things that taught me so much and I loved seeing so many other talented photographers make it to the finals, top 3, and even placing first because they worked so hard on something new and visually stunning that deserved that placement.

Anyone local wanna throw a frisbee for my dog this evening? Must be able to throw a frisbee very well, follow instructions, and get in the water with her. If traffic sucks by the time I want to head out we will try Monday evening.

Model call!

I’m looking for fast, water loving, hard working, incredibly well trained dogs for a project I plan on working on mid July through September.

Disc dogs
Dock diving dogs
And any dog that will fly through or splash in the water.

To be considered:

Dogs must be very well trained and have next to perfect recall.

Can’t be aggressive towards other dogs. I’m fine with a dog that knows their boundaries and keeps to themselves, but if the dog is actively trying to be aggressive towards another dog then that’s a big no.

If you happen to own a kayak or paddle board that your dog loves to hang out on and jump off of that’s a major plus.

This project will require an NDA signed until it can be fully released.

If you’re interested, please DM message me a short bio and photo of your dog. I will be reviewing applications over the next few weeks so if I don’t respond right away, that’s why.

Steel.

If anyone knows me, then you know German Shepherds are my favorite breed of dog. So as you know, my excitement meeting Steel, this stunning, gorgeous boy a few weeks ago was the best. I was told that he loved swimming in his families pool, but never swam in the Chesapeake Bay. Well, as you can see he went right in and loved every minute of it!

It's moments like these that I love photographing. Steel's intense, goofy self created some of the best photos.

I can't wait to share more with you all 🤩.

The Incredible Daisy has done it again.🤩

We went out yesterday evening to test out a few camera settings because something was off when I would work in backlight. Come to find that I'm just a idiot and completely forgot my exposure meter existed and for some reason it was up way beyond what I've ever set it to. So short story, I "fixed" my problem 🤦‍♀️. It's ok, even masters at their craft make mistakes and usually very easy/stupid ones 😆. Oh I also forgot my battery but had 2 spare ones in my camera bag so that happened too lol.

But anyways, back to Daisy being the best, hard working dog a girl could ever ask for. She was so focused and excited to be out at our favorite location. She stayed in her down position while I hobbled by butt over to my marked spot in the sand. With the magic word "go" off she went like the fiery dog I know so well after her frisbee.

The water was glass calm, the lighting was so beautiful, and her jumping posture in my eyes, perfection.

I know I announced taking on less photo sessions this year, but this park and every dog I've met so far has really brought my drive and spirits back to when I first started all of this. I might add 1 or 2 more spots in July but we will see how the weather plays out.

This action packed pup is Blaze! And he was my first client session of the year. He left his mark and has a place in my top photos taken since I've started photographing dogs. I couldn't resist editing this yesterday evening as I continue to work my way through his album trying to select the best of the best.

My spring photo sessions have already started off with a big splash!

Blaze, the duck tolling retriever had the time of his life yesterday evening swimming and splashing around in the Chesapeake Bay. This is just a zoomed in, unedited sneak peak of 1 of many stunning and action packed photos I am currently looking through. The weather, lighting and of course Blaze, were perfect and I can't wait to share more of his photos 🥰.

My Nikon Z8 didn't miss a beat which you can see how well it focused on the dogs face. Pretty sure you all are sick of how much I talk about this camera but I love it! 📷😍

I'm so excited for this year. Everything is just falling into place and I can't wait to get back out in the water with my camera and the dogs.

Selling my Nikkor F mount 85mm 1.4 lens. It’s in excellent condition. Used maybe 4 times. Lens can be paired with the ZTF mount adapter for Nikon mirrorless cameras.

The reason I’m selling is because I just don’t use it as much as my other lenses. If you know someone interested DM me for more information, lens photos, and price. 🙂
