New campers just in time for our first big snow of the year. We rarely get snow storms at our house, but this one so far has us at just a little under 1ft of snow. Some of the dogs love it, some of the dogs would rather lounge by the fireplace. 🌨️🪵🔥

Last day of camp for this long legged Rhodesian Ridgeback pup!

Thandi was a bouncing ball of energy when she joined us 4 weeks ago. Now she’s like one of our own, and we are going to miss this fun pup around the house.

Over the weekend Scott and Solenya competed in Oregon at the Western Regional Championship, taking home the 3rd place trophy, in Ring 2, out of 7 dogs.

Next up we will be flying to Ohio at the beginning of November so Scott and Solenya can compete in the NARA French Ring National Championship!

Eeyore & Bodie joined us for a walk around downtown Grass Valley yesterday evening.

Both did a great job with walking around people and dogs, down stays and proper greeting manners. ⭐️

This situation happens more often than people realize, and unfortunately not every dog is as lucky as this pup! If you are going to play fetch with a ball, we recommend using a ball with a rope, or a larger ball that can’t be easily lodged in the throat.

Scott and Meagan competed with their dogs, Solenya and Egon, this weekend in Arizona at the NARA Western Regional Championship.

Scott and Solenya took home 1st place out of 8 teams with a score of 189.55 out of 200. Meagan and Egon took 2nd with a score of 189.15. 💪 🐕 🥇 🥈

Artemis is a bit nervous of the world and came in a bit reactive towards dogs on leash. She’s been here about a week, and steadily gains confidence everyday!

Honey, Buster, and Maggie are staying with us for a little vacation while their parents are away.

These two joined us today for a little outing at Home Depot. Riley, the Bernadoodle puppy, came to us barking and excitedly lunging at every person and dog that walked by, now he can calmly walk by both without barking.

Gunner on the other hand is a big strong boy that used to pull his mom everywhere. When he came to us he would not only try to pull us everywhere but random sounds would startle him and he would try to bolt off in the other direction. His leash manners have greatly improved, and he is slowly building confidence in new areas with lots of different sounds.

One of Coco’s owners goals was to be able to take her to restaurants and have her calmly hang out next to her. ✅ Great job Coco!
