Sapphires are believed to symbolize wisdom, virtue, and good fortune 💙 Our very own Sapphire promises to bring the same good energy to your home! Beautiful, smart, and full of life, this 4-year-old pup simply can’t hold back her joy and would do best in a home with any children over 10 years old. She is eager to learn and would love to show you all the cues she already knows!
Like all dogs at WHS, Sapphire is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, plus her adoption fee has been reduced to $75 to help her find her match! Stop in during adoption hours to see if this brown eyed beauty is a match for you 🐶 She has as long as it takes to find a new home, but we hope her "Gotcha Day" comes soon!

Meet Abby!
If you’re looking for a loyal friend with lots of love to give, look no further! Meet Abby, a 4-year-old dog patiently waiting for a new family to scoop her up at the Wisconsin Humane Society Green Bay Campus. This beautiful pup currently weighs 102lbs and would love to be your new walking buddy (once the weather warms up!) 🥶 In the meantime, treat-filled Kongs are her second favorite thing! Abby prefers to have all your attention to herself and would be happiest in a home without other dogs. Despite her charm and heart-melting smile, she hasn’t had much luck finding a new home yet. To help her out, we’ve reduced her adoption fee to $75. Like all dogs at WHS, Abby is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, plus her adopter will receive a certificate for a free vet exam and a lifetime of behavior support from our experts ❤ To find out if she’s a good match for your family, simply stop in during adoption hours to meet her!
Our Green Bay Campus is open for adoptions Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2-6pm and Saturday 12-5pm.
Help Bottle Babies | Wisconsin Humane Society
♥ How to make a big impact for our tiniest guests ♥
More than 1,000 kittens and puppies flood through our doors each year. Orphaned newborns are especially vulnerable. Without help, hundreds of these babies would simply not make it. Thankfully, our truly heroic foster parents rise to the challenge. WHS provides the supplies, vet check-ups, and medical assistance. They provide the love, patience, and comfort.
In their homes, foster parents hand-feed the babies every 2 to 3 hours, through busy days and long nights. They weigh them daily on kitchen scales to make sure they’re growing. They keep the kittens warm and clean. They do a ton of laundry. All in hopes that most of the babies will survive.
It takes a lot of resources to support these little ones – neonatal nursery supplies include specialized formula, heating pads, scales, bottles, and more. Our foster team works hard to support the foster parents, and our veterinary team performs regular check-ups and triages urgent issues.
Left alone in the shelter, these kittens and puppies would not survive the night. But with your help, we can give these babies a fighting chance. Would you consider helping with a gift of any size?
