Itsy, came in for surgery today for an eye enucleation (eye removal), which went very well. Well, since Itsy is so small, our Ecollars were too big for him. So thanks to some creativity by our staff, we made a paper plate into an Ecollar for him. Isn’t he ADORABLE?! ❤️

Veterinary Appreciation Day💕

Today, we want to make our Veterinary staff aware of how loved and appreciated they are. All of our staff from the Veterinarians to the Technicians and CSRs play a vital role in our clinic. They are the everyday heroes for our clients and patients. Without our staff, we would not be the amazing clinic we are today! See the link below for different ways to show your gratitude!

We are excited to announce that we have added two new Veterinarians to our clinic! Dr. Reddoch and Dr. Giasomo will be starting in the next week.

Dr. Reddoch, a 2024 graduate from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, is practicing large and small animal medicine with the team at Franklin Veterinary Associates. Originally from Georgia, Dr. Reddoch received his Bachelor's of Science in Agriculture and Animal Science from the University of Georgia in 2020. His interests include surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and large animal reproduction. In his spare time, Dr. Reddoch enjoys running, working out, and playing on competitive sports teams. Dr. Reddoch is looking forward to serving clients and helping animals in Franklin county and surrounding areas!

Dr. Giasomo earned her Bachelor's of Science in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences at Penn State University. She furthered her education at Midwestern University in Arizona, where she obtained her DVM degree in 2024. Dr, Giasomo is from this area and is excited to come back home and help serve the clients where she grew up. She will be doing small animal medicine and loves doing surgery. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her cat, Ravioli!

Due to staffing issues, Mountain View Animal Emergency will have an hour change for the following days:

Friday, June 14th 6:00 am-12:00pm (Noon) closed.

Open from 12pm (noon) to 12am (midnight) for incoming cases.

Midnight (12:00am) to 12:00 pm Saturday, June 15th closed.

Reopen Saturday June 15th from 12pm (noon) to 12am (midnight) for incoming cases.

Midnight (12:00am) to 12:00 pm Sunday June 16th closed.

Reopen Sunday June 16th from 12pm (noon) to 12am (midnight) for incoming cases.

Midnight (12:00am) to 6:00am Monday June 17th closed.
Reopen to 24 hours at 6:00am Monday.

Additionally, they will be closed Sunday June 23rd from 6:00am – 6:00pm and reopen at 24 hours 6:00pm Sunday night.
