Our onions have taken on many faces this season🧅🌱
Some of them bolting from the unpredictable weather at the top of the year- others too pretty to even look at. We learn from it all and usher in the practice of seed saving. Stay tuned😉

Wednesday, June 19th, Celebrate Juneteenth with us at the Triad Black Faith Leaders and Black Farmers Network’s Black Farmers Market from 10 AM to 4 PM at Hayes Taylor YMCA in Greensboro North Carolina. There will be food trucks, music, fresh produce, and a whole lot of love.
Bring your family and we’ll see yall there!

MEET ELLIE DIETH✨
She’s a junior at Guilford College majoring in sustainable food systems and peace and conflict studies. She is passionate about food accessibility, mutual aid, and handcrafting!
Ellie has been an efficient and loyal volunteer predating the start of her internship. We are very grateful for all of the help and intention put into the work they do.

Watching the progression of fall allows us to welcome in the stillness of winter. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, partnered, or shared positive energy with us this year and continues to support us in every way. The growth has been astronomical and we look forward to the growth sure to come. We have chosen to cancel our last 2 volunteer sessions for the year to avoid any discomfort to volunteers due to weather; as well allow farm staff to have ample planning time and rest. Feel free to DM us with any questions/concerns/hopes/dreams.

Thank y’all for spending your Sunday amongst the trees in the Warnersville community. You were a tremendous help.

Last week we had our last “Pizza on the Farm” night for the summer and want to send a huge thank you to all of those who joined us and/or invited a friend. The intentional time we took to break bread with one another as a community really took on a life of its own. May it only become bigger and better! 🥂🌱🍕

Unfortunately today’s farm volunteer session and pizza time have been cancelled because of the rain. The plants are loving all the water but not so much the volunteers. We’ll try again next time!
