We are excited to be the next generation of farmers that combines new and old strategies of farming to cultivate food and protect the fertile soils of the earth. Baker Sustainable Farms was started by a group of longtime friends/family who combined efforts to grow organic vegetables on a piece of land in Gridley, California. Our mission is to grow produce that will not only help our families stay

healthy but yours, too! Starting off on this first location has been quite the adventure, giving us immense respect for all farmers that work the land. We are a curious bunch with growing interest and involvement in maintaining soil fertility using old practices such as composting to improve soil structure and new information such as the importance of different soil organisms in nutrient cycling. Together we will continue to expand our knowledge, work our hardest to make a living and grow the best food we possibly can while caring for our land… We are here to stay!
