Gus tells us that it’s Back-to-School time!

Schedule changes can be difficult for our pets and lead to unwanted behaviors. Here are some back to school transition tips for your furbabies:

* Keep a consistent feeding schedule. This will help keep your pets on a normal potty routine and avoid accidents.

* Involve your pet in school activities. Take a 5 minute study break for stuffy tug, ball throw, or feather pole game. Have younger kids read to your pets or give a treat when a spelling word or question is answered correctly.

* Invest in educational games for your pets to stimulate their mind too. Dog Puzzles and Interactive Cat Toys are a wonderful way to keep your pet entertained while you are away from home or studying.

* Know your pets exercise requirements. If you have an energetic friend, consider doggie daycare at Pinnacle Pets Play and Stay or Pet Suites.

Meet Dr. Stephanie Neuburger!

We have recently been blessed with the addition of Dr. Stephanie Neuburger to our care team.

Dr. Neuburger is an amazing doctor with extensive internal medicine knowledge and strong surgical skills. Her strengths also include her compassionate communication with pet parents, placing them at ease when their furbabies are sick or injured.

Dr. Neuburger attended The University of Findlay with a major in Animal Sciences and minor in Chemistry. She completed her Veterinary studies at Purdue University, and we are enjoying the benefits of knowledge outside of our Buckeye world.

She has been an active participant in 4-H and Equestrian activities including Barrel Racing. As a testament to her fondness of Star Wars, she shares her home with the sweetest Golden Retriever/German Shepherd pup, Cassian.
