Please join us in sending light and love to CJ’s family as they recently had to say goodbye to their best boy

CJ was smart, sweet, playful and always smiling. He had so many friends here, both human and dogs. He loved to be snuggled as much as he loved playing and hanging out with his friends.

The past few months CJ spent a great deal of time indoors on the futon in the living room and his friends would take turns hanging out with him. He raided the toy box for his favorite stuffies to chew on and nap with.

Thank you for sharing your boy with us for so many wonderful years. He touched all of our hearts and took pieces of those hearts with him when he crossed the rainbow bridge.

Run, fly, and catch those squirrels CJ. You will never be forgotten ✨

UPDATE! Thanks to Mike and Bill from Willow Glenn Pools the pool is functioning! Half of the problem was fixed this morning and they were able to use some of their own equipment temporarily to keep it running until new parts come in that are needed for the full fix. We have very happy dogs and a very grateful WK9 team!

The pool is a hub of fun activity during the summer months as these pics from this afternoon show. Unfortunately though it has developed a plumbing problem, not surprising given that it is almost as old as I am.

We are asking all of our swimmers families to send positive energy and vibes tomorrow morning when the pool repair company comes to determine if it needs minor or major ‘surgery’ and it they can force a temporary fix to hold it until fall for a full repair.

What a difference a year makes!

Piper, Vita, Skye (pictured hiking with Ronin as puppies) and Fern(pictured separately) all turn a year old in a two week span the end of June into July! What fun it has been watching these four grow up together 🥳

When Freckles was adopted she had no experience playing with other dogs, was very unsure socially and often reactive. Her new family has worked so hard on every level with wonderful results. Not only is she in a full playgroup with many friends but this video shows her meeting a friend for the first time and moving smoothly into play mode. So proud of this beautiful girl 🐶

On Sundays things slow down a little around here 🙃
