Will consider ranch and barrel saddles. Wanting something with lots of movement in the fenders.

Closer to Columbia Mo the better but I accept any excuse to drive to Olath KS //kcmo or st Louis area.

Worked with this girl tonight and she was taking everything in stride so I decided to hop on and try her out. She wasn’t to bad. I think she’ll come around pretty quick.

Stop sacking out and over desensitizing c**ts....I know it's an unpopular opinion but we would rather start a c**t that's not halter broke then a c**t that's dead to anything and everything around them why? They're dangerous when they have temper tantrums, when they get pushed past their limits in training and the list goes on. All you're making in some cases is a heartless spoiled brat that's no good under pressure. I don't care about the gimmicks of noodles and tarps, leaf blowers etc. It doesn't make for a gentle c**t...I want a c**t to move off my energy, my body language and not jump in my lap in times of stress. 9 times out of 10 you're making c**ts worse by tinkering with them yourself and over desensitizing.

We did a thing.

Saturday as I was headed to a tack sale I got a call from a friend/client, to bring my trailer because I was getting a horse. (Notice how she didn’t ask if I wanted it 🤣)

Anyway. Here she is 10 year old thoroughbred mare. Was intended to be a recip mare but she didn’t take. Not sure if she’s ever been broke. But she loaded easy, walks nicely on the lead and stands tied.
Does NOT like her feet to be picked up.
I actually may try to a TikTok live showing me working with her feet.

I’m shocked… and blessed to be saying this but I am taking a list of those who are wanting spring refreshers or training for next year.

I’m not requiring deposits. And I’m not setting firm dates. But I’m gonna go ahead and take names and rough schedules of when we want it.

I already have one C**t for 60-90 days tentatively scheduled.

Do I sound absolutely ridiculous? Yup. I am very aware, however, I’ve come very far managing him this way. 2 months ago we had to WALK (/jig) the barrel pattern 1 month ago we long trotted it. Saturday we loped it… like this. I’ve been on a long road this year with Cruze and I’ve felt defeated at times. We’ve come so far even if no one else can see it.

We absolutely scared the dickens out of him doing this 🤣 but worth it. *yes I’m wearing a sports bra in this video it was 90° + out and I didn’t know my friends husband was bringing over a new gadget to try out. **the “war paint” on his face is for flys

I’m gonna be honest. Ponies are only sh*ts when they’re handled like sh*t. Handle them like any other horse.

He wasn’t impressed by any means but we got our first ride in 🥃

Laney didn’t like being ponied so sat back refused to move so I hopped off and schooled her on following and giving to pressure and my trusty pony horse just stood and watched he actually pivted around to keep facing us as we trotted around him… for several laps. Then he gave up lol 🥰
